Dr. Janet Yeh is a primary healthcare provider, licensed by the California Acupuncture Board. She holds a Doctorate in Nutrition Counseling graduating Summa Cum Laude. For most of her life, she has worked in the field of natural medicine. Dr. Yeh grew up in the clinic and around patients. Natural medicine has been more than a profession to her, it is a family tradition and a way of life. Dr. Yeh is an herbalist and medical acupuncturist, receiving extensive post-graduate training from senior physician and father, Dr. Shao-Lin Yeh, who has over 45 years of medical experience. 

While attending the University of California in San Diego and majoring in Biology, Dr. Janet Yeh worked in the emergency room of Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California and in the Pediatrics Department at the UCSD Medical Center in patient care. Since then, she has graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Science and Doctorate Degree in Nutrition Counseling from La Salle University.

Dr. Janet Yeh enjoys writing and she has written books and published numerous articles. She is the author and co-author of “Balanced Food Medicine”, “Seasonal Food Medicine”, “Personalized Food Medicine”, “Foods of Food Medicine”, “Natural Medicine Works”, “Never Alone”, and “Tai Chi Exercise”. She has lectured on the topics of Cancer and Nutrition, Diabetes and Nutrition, Pediatric Care, Geriatric Care, and Male and Female Reproductive System Care to patients as well as fellow post-graduates.

Dr. Janet Yeh is the vice-president and co-founder of Natural Medicine Center™, Natural Medicine Company, Natural Medicine Clinic Agape Herbs, Inc. and Agape Acupuncture, Inc. In 2009, the Natural Medicine Center™ won the Best of Orange County award in the Medical Acupuncturist & Herbalist category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The American Biographical Institute named Dr. Janet Yeh Woman of the Year in 1999, and she has also appeared in the millennium editions of the International Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women and 1000 World Leaders of Influence. Dr. Yeh has earned the distinction of being an outstanding doctor in the field of natural medicine. In 2001, she was interviewed for an article on cancer and acupuncture (Chemo-puncture) by the Berkeley Medical Journal. Dr. Yeh has appeared in the Cambridge Who's Who and she is an honors edition lifetime member with her biography published nationally. She is also on the ABI's Research Board of Advisors.

I am humbled by all the patients that come through our doors - some from nearby, but some from out of state and even out of country. We have patients that drive long hours to come to our office for treatment - only to get back in their cars to drive many more hours home. They travel to our office a few times each week. We have patients that fly here for their visits - even ones that pilot their own private planes to come for treatments. Health is truly priceless and being healthy and staying healthy should never be taken for granted. I certainly do not take the medical profession lightly because it is a huge responsibility and a rewarding career.
