Since 1998, I suffered from anxiety and depression. It was hard for me to concentrate. My condition affected my work, my family, and my daily life. I felt like life was not exciting, and I did not want to go out and enjoy life. I was afraid of interacting with new people, and I wasn’t able to do anything.

I went to a therapist and psychiatrist and I was prescribed Paxil, Zoloft and Celexa. They just wanted me to take the medications for years and keep on going to counseling. I had to keep going back and I didn’t feel like it was helping me consistently. I was also concerned about the side effects of drugs.

In December, 2007, I decided to come to the Natural Medicine Center. I found natural medicine on the internet and read the testimonials. I started getting acupuncture treatments and taking herbal medicine. I was relieved when the doctor found out what was wrong. My aunts and my mom were very supportive and my mother always encouraged me. My cousin had similar symptoms and received acupuncture and it totally changed her life.

About a month after the treatments, I noticed improvements. I had more energy and I was more helpful at home. My family is happy that I got help and that I am more myself. The depression is gone and I am able to have more fun and do my job. I am not afraid anymore. The treatments also helped my fungal nails.
