I suffered from chronic lower back pain due to a herniated disc and my vertebrae pitched to one side. I was in chronic pain and everyday it was getting worse. I have always been a very active person. I would run everyday, play golf or play with the kids. This condition limited me, and it affected every part of my life in a negative way. I could not walk, sit, lie down, or sleep.
I went to the medical doctors and specialists, and they prescribed Vicodin, a pain killer, and Flexorl, a muscle relaxer. The drugs did not treat the problem and my condition just got worse.
On June 20, 2005, a friend referred me to the Natural Medicine Center. I wanted to be well again, to have my life back, and to avoid surgery. I have never had an experience with natural medicine but I was impressed by the clinic. I was given acupuncture, herbal tablets and nutritional guidelines. The acupuncture treatments are painless, relaxing, rejuvenating and reenergizing.
The results are amazing. In the first treatment, I felt a difference and from there, it got better and better. I am able to function like a normal person and I have an improved quality of life.
