My name is Faith and I am 10 years old. As long as I can remember, I have always had headaches. I would have them about once a week, and eventually vomit because of it. I was experiencing migraines.
My mom began to be a patient at Natural Medicine in August of this year, and I would come with her. She told Kevin about my headaches, and that we already had spoken with my pediatrician about them. Dr. Lam suggested changing my diet to add more protein, and that would fix the problem. It didn’t.
After a while, my pediatrician suggested Zantac for the stomach issues. My mom said, “NO WAY!” Dr. Kevin suggested I be examined.
He pinpointed my female system, and I began to be treated with acupuncture and herbal teas. I didn’t like the taste of the tea, but I knew it would help me. I love Kevin and Janet (Dr. Yeh)! Carmen, Mary, Jorge and Sharla are very sweet and helpful.
Since I’ve completed one series of treatments, I have only had one headache and it wasn’t so bad. I’m still drinking the herbal teas so I can continue to make my body stronger while I’m growing.
