I suffered from irregular periods and low hormone levels. I have always had irregular periods combined with low energy, lower back pain, and moodiness. I also had severe cramping. In my early twenties, I started getting migraine headaches really bad one week before my period. There was tremendous pain behind the back of my eyes. I had chills and I was sensitive to light. I would not be able to do anything and my husband would do the things I would normally do. My condition kept me from functioning and made me frustrated and upset. I took aspirin for the condition, but the drugs only made me sicker.
In June 2005, I came to the Natural Medicine Center for treatments for my female system. I hoped that the treatments would help regulate my period and that the headaches would go away. I began getting acupuncture and drinking herbal teas. I believe in natural medicine because my son got results from the treatments.
