Minimal Side Effects From Chemotherapy
“I had a
total of 6 chemotherapy sessions and the
side effects were minimal and I had lots of energy.”
In July, 2006, I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. It was completely unexpected. On August 8, 2006 I had surgery to have a mass by the left groin removed. I had low energy and my left leg was swollen from the surgery. The medical doctors prescribed Prednisone, a corticosteroid drug medication, and my chemotherapy was scheduled for September, 2006.
On September 11, 2006, I came to the Natural Medicine Center. I wanted to go natural before starting chemotherapy, so that all the side effects from chemo would be minimized. I knew that coming here first would help support me through chemotherapy and I believed in natural medicine. I began acupuncture treatments, herbal medicine, and following nutritional and dietary guidelines.
I started feeling better right after the first treatment. Two weeks into the acupuncture treatments, I started chemo. I had a total of 6 chemotherapy sessions and the side effects were minimal and I had lots of energy. I was able to continue as if I did not have cancer. I lost weight, and I lost 6 inches. I am excited about the results and excited for the future because now my cancer is in remission.
The Natural Medicine Center did not compromise the modern medicine perspective and worked together and complimented my modern medicine therapy. Dr. Huang does not tell his patients to stop the modern medicine and only do the natural way. The treatments are a whole approach on trying to heal as much as possible.
