I started getting headaches when I was in 3rd grade and as I got older the headaches became migraines. At age 27, I was getting 2-3 migraines a week and made frequent trips to the emergency room for relief. The migraines made school and work a struggle and my life very unpredictable. When I woke up every morning I never knew if I would make it through the day or be back in bed in a couple of hours. I saw countless doctors who prescribed many different medications and told me that my migraines were hereditary. They didn't know what caused them and they weren't even sure why some medications worked but they prescribed them anyway. Some of the medications provided up to a year of relief but the side effects were awful. I became completely dependant on medications to cope with the pain. The pain was so unbearable some days I thought I would lose my mind. After a rough week I often felt very down and emotionally depressed. My life revolved around migraines and trying to prevent them. The pain, nausea, vomiting, shakiness, and exhaustion were a main part of my life.

As a Christian I know that my God is a God of healing. I believed that He could heal me if He was willing and I never stopped asking for Him to heal me completely.  I prayed and prayed for years. When another medication stopped working I began praying for what God would have me do next. I asked God to lead me to a place that could treat my pain using some sort of alternative medicine. I had a dream of being medication free even though that seemed absolutely impossible. In fact, the thought of not having access to my medications was extremely frightening! I took them everywhere I went.

After sharing about my suffering with some collegues, a co-worker shared about her success with the Natural Medicine Center and how God had brought her healing through natural medicine. I made an appointment and walked into the office with all of my medical records. I felt nervous but hopeful. When Dr. Huang looked me in the eye and told me I could get well I couldn't believe it! I sat in my car after the appointment and cried with joy. In all of my life no doctor had ever told me that I could be healed. I began the one year program prescribed for me and went in for acupuncture treatments twice a week. I drank the herbal teas 3 times a day and took herbal tablets as well. I made adjustments to my diet and made the prescribed changes in lifestyle.

What happened next is truly a miracle! Slowly the migraines became more and more infrequent and now I don't get them AT ALL! They are completely gone. Dr Huang slowly took me off of my medications bit by bit and now I am also drug free!!! My co-workers, friends, and family cannot believe it. They have watched as my body has healed from the inside out. My symptoms are completely gone and I celebrate this unbelievable gift that God has given me. I knew the Lord could heal me if He was willing and He did! He heard my prayers and cries for mercy and led me to this clinic. He did the "impossible" in my life and I will forever tell this amazing story that He has given me. I am healed!
