Zackary was a healthy 10 year-old and an athletic child. In May 2010, he developed a Staphylococcal infection and cellulitis, a skin inflammation caused by bacteria entering the skin. At first, we thought it was a bite or a sore of some kind until it went to the head and then we took him to the doctors.

He was hospitalized, put on antibiotics and underwent surgery to cut off the dead tissue. The drugs gave him moods swings. He was disappointed, sad and scared. He had pain in his leg and was taken out of school for approximately 2 weeks. A nurse came in for a month to drain his leg. The infection ruined his summer and he could not go swimming or enjoy the summer.

We brought Zackary to the Natural Medicine Center on July 19, 2010 to renew his energy and strengthen the immune system. I had been here before so I knew expectations would be good. Zac began acupuncture treatments and taking herbs and he was here for a month. The staff is nice, friendly and helpful, and the clinic is clean and has a nice environment.

Pretty much everything is back to normal. He has way more energy and the treatments have kept him healthy and his immune system boosted.
