I was just looking for other solutions before surgery. Being I never had acupuncture before, I was just hoping I’d get better. The very 1st session helped me a lot. I went home to sleep. The needles don’t hurt, it was very relaxing and sometimes I would fall asleep. After the 8th session I was 80-90% better. Everyday was a good percentage of recovery. The acupuncture treatments make you feel good and everyone that sees me sees that I’m better. My family and friends are happy to see me feel better and relieved that I stopped suffering. In January 2017, I went to see a neurosurgeon, went through MRI and was diagnosed with TN. He gave me several options including open surgery from the back of my skull, and this freaked me out. The first week of February I had my first appointment with Dr. Huang. I needed a wheelchair and had great pain and difficulty getting on the table. Process was easy, and everyone involved was calm with positive energy. I continued sessions 3 times per week and after the second week was beginning to feel results.
