Since October 2014, I suffered from sciatic nerve pain and back pain from lower back degeneration. Work was hard in heavy construction and my condition was getting worse. It started with sciatic pain to my bottom, then to the leg and calves. It traveled to the ankles and foot and 3 toes went numb. I laid in bed for one week and it wasn’t getting better. I felt worthless - just laid in bed. I couldn’t do anything, and wasn’t even hungry or thirsty. I couldn’t get up from bed. It was hard to go to the bathroom. I went to the doctor, chiropractor and had massage therapy. I took pain pills and steroids. None worked.

I have always been a strong hard worker but this condition, it made me think a lot because I was not able to do the things I did before. The pain was really bad and I felt drugged with all these pills and the pain didn’t go away. Nothing they did for me worked. I didn’t want surgery, and that’s all they offered me - pain killers, steroids and surgery - so I came here to see Dr. Huang in February 12, 2015 for acupuncture.

I was just looking for other solutions before surgery. Being I never had acupuncture before, I was just hoping I’d get better. The very 1st session helped me a lot. I went home to sleep. The needles don’t hurt, it was very relaxing and sometimes I would fall asleep. After the 8th session I was 80-90% better. Everyday was a good percentage of recovery. I am healed and Agape Acupuncture gave me great results with acupuncture and herbs.

The acupuncture treatments make you feel good and everyone that sees me sees that I’m better. My family and friends are happy to see me feel better and relieved that I stopped suffering. They are very curious about acupuncture. I even lost weight and it makes you feel good when you look better. If I had surgery it would have taken longer for the recuperation.

I’m back in business. It feels really good I’m back to normal. Everyone was nice and and the staff gave me great service and are professional. They made me feel like family. I tell everybody I’m better and back to normal. I believe 100% on all this: herbs and acupuncture. When I compare it to modern medicine, I believe natural medicine more. I didn’t expect these results and didn’t know that acupuncture was this great. Just try it. On my own experience I had great results.
