In 2006, I was suffering from dizziness and hearing loss. It became so debilitating that I couldn’t drive. I previously just recovered and beat Stage 4 lung cancer, then getting diagnosed with yet another disease, Meniere’s Disease. MY LIFE SAVER

Nine months ago, I was finishing a prescribed short-term diet change with a lot of fish and vegetables and started breaking out in itchy rashes all over my body. I thought it was an allergic reaction to seafood since I have lived with allergies all my life, and in my youth some seafood caused it.

For six months, I went in and out of urgent care and met with dermatologists, had steroid shots and pills, tried antibiotics, and multiple prescribed ointments. While some things offered temporary relief, the rashes kept coming back and were getting worse, particularly if I got any sun.

Then I found out more about the rash. It's extremely itchy, the western doctors named it Eczema, I can't go out in the sun, I can't get hot and sweaty, because all of which will cause more Rash and severe itching. In my despair, I wanted to see if Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture could help. One day as I surfed online, looking for solutions, Agape Natural Health website popped up. I read it carefully about Dr. Kevin Huang's medical background, experiences, and special training. In July 2021, at age 70, I underwent a liver CT scan at Saddleback Memorial Hospital. Unexpectedly, the scan also revealed a nodule in my lung. Although the image was unclear—since the scan wasn't intended for the lung—this fortunate accident led to the discovery of a potentially life-threatening issue.

A month later, in August, I had a dedicated lung CT scan, which showed an 11mm nodule on my lower left lung, roughly the size of a dime. I was deeply concerned it might lead to lung cancer. My doctor advised monitoring its growth over time.

By March 2022, seven months later, my second CT scan revealed that the nodule had grown slightly, from 11mm to 12mm. Although its slow growth suggested it was non-aggressive, I was determined to eliminate it. I chose not to immediately proceed with a follow-up CT-guided biopsy that was recommended by the doctor due to concerns about possible side effects from the procedure. Wanting to avoid chemotherapy, I turned to natural medicine and prayed for guidance to find the right doctor.

That answer came in the form of Dr. Huang at Agape Natural Health in Newport Beach. After researching doctors online, I felt drawn to Dr. Huang, who specializes in acupuncture and herbs. Finally, on March 7, 2023, I was scheduled for a CT guided lung biopsy at Providence Mission Hospital. However, while preparing for the biopsy procedure, the doctor shared shocking and astonishing news: "there's no need for a biopsy. We found no nodule on your left lower lung." Overwhelmed with gratitude, I nearly cried out, "Praise God! This is a miracle!" My husband, waiting in the lobby, was equally stunned and thankful. When I first saw Dr. Kevin Huang, my prognosis was dim. I was diagnosed with colon cancer that had spread to my liver and a rare gastrointestinal stromal tumor. I had undergone surgery for the colon cancer and was put on a type of chemo that made me  sick. I lost a lot of weight and was extremely anxious and depressed. I had never been treated with acupuncture before and was hesitant to add yet another treatment to my protocol, but I was desperate to find help. 

Dr. Huang immediately reassured me that “Aculove” was painless and effective. My surgeon told me that I probably had a year if I did not do anything. I wanted to try a more holistic approach instead of just relying on traditional medicine and chemo. Dr. Huang’s methodology helped me to remain calm, sleep better, and gain weight while also lowering my CEA (cancer markers).  As a result, I was able to survive two more major surgeries and two additional chemotherapies. I have been struggling with Systemic Sclerosis, also known as scleroderma, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), Anxiety, and Stress for about three years now. Systemic Sclerosis, an autoimmune disease, has particularly affected me as it causes the body to attack itself. In my case, inflammation of the esophagus, stomach pain, and constant heartburn.

“I never imagined that a routine injection of medication from another doctor would lead to such a challenging health issue at the age of 73. Our journey with Parry-Romberg syndrome, an autoimmune condition, with Scleroderma, Linear Morphea, and Vitiligo, began with the first symptoms appearing in 2018 in my child at the age of 7. As a parent, witnessing my child’s health challenges was a heart-wrenching experience.

Finding effective treatment for our child became our top priority. At a young age of 9, on July 16, 2020, we discovered Agape Natural Health in Newport Beach, California, and embarked on a transformative medical journey under the care of Dr. Huang at Agape Natural Health. Symptoms were first noted 2 years prior around age of 7, initially appearing as white color changes on the forehead or vitiligo. Despite undergoing treatment with another doctor without any improvement for vitiligo, over time, our child developed the left side of the face develop atrophy which was later diagnosed as scleroderma.

Over the next 3 years into September 2023, our child’s condition remained very stable and growing as a healthy, active, normal child with great quality of life. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Kevin and his staff. I am a 12-year-old girl, who had Scleroderma, thank God that I didn’t have the main symptoms. Scleroderma is a very rare disease. At four months old, my son developed eczema on his cheeks. When he was old enough to crawl, it spread all over his neck, arms, and legs. He was covered in big, red spots that inflamed throughout his body. His skin was dry, flaky, and scaly that looked and felt like an alligator. There was not a spot on his arms, hands, and leg that wasn't eczema. Everything I did for my son did not help. He was miserable. His eczema kept him up all day and all night, causing him to be restless. I was restless, too. 

When his pediatrician told me that it was just a baby rash, which is common in infants, it will eventually go away. Since it didn't go away and it came back worse than before, that was when his pediatrician diagnosed my son with eczema. We used everything from over the counter antihistamine cream, and body oil to prescription steroid cream and nothing helped to relieve the pain he was experiencing. Temperature Control and Regulation

In a sense, the body is a small universe with a heat and energy giver, exemplifying the sun within a solar system. The hypothalamus of the brain acts as a “thermostat” to control body temperature. This homeostatic mechanism maintains 37 degrees Celsius (or 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit) in a healthy person. It not only controls the external temperature but also internal temperature of important organ systems.

When the body is exposed to a cold environment and the temperature begins to drop, the hypothalamus senses this change and triggers heat-generating and heat-conserving activities. Small groups of muscle cells are stimulated to involuntarily contract - an action called shivering. These muscular contractions produce heat, which warm the body. At the same time, blood vessels within the skin also constrict to reduce blood flow, which allow heat to be retained in deeper tissue.

Similarly, if a person becomes over heated, the temperature control center of the brain triggers a series of changes that promote loss of body heat. Sweat glands in the skin are stimulated to secrete watery perspiration. As the water evaporates from the surface, heat is carried away and the skin is cooled down. At the same time, the brain center causes blood vessels in the skin to dilate. This allows the blood that carries heat from deeper tissue to reach the surface where more heat is lost to the outside. Also, the brain center stimulates increased heart rate, causing a greater volume of blood to move into the surface vessels and an increase in breathing rate allowing more heat carrying air to be expelled from the lungs. 

The 14 vertical organ systems (female reproductive, male reproductive, liver, gallbladder, heart, small intestine, pericardium, lymphatic, stomach, spleen, lung, large intestine, kidney, and urinary bladder) have different internal temperatures, as do the seasons. If there is an imbalance of internal environment, the organ systems show different symptoms or illnesses. There is no cure for ulcerative colitis. Ulcerative colitis is treated with multiple drugs or surgery. Doctors would prescribe UC patients with an anti-inflammatory drug to reduce the inflammation, immune system suppressor to suppresses the WBC response to prevent inflammation, and other drugs such as antibiotics, anti-diarrheal medication, pain reliever, and iron supplements to aid in the symptoms UC has caused in the colon. A study was done at Yiwu Central Hospital on 86 patients with IBD-D that was randomly divided into a control group and an observation group. What is Chronic Lyme Disease?
