BALANCE YOUR DIGESTIVE AND LARGE INTESTINE SYSTEMS THIS AUTUMN SEASON

Digestive and Large Intestine Health During the Autumn Season

The autumn season is the best time of the year to maintain, nourish, cleanse

and balance the digestive and large intestine systems according

to natural medicine.

Good quality water is vitally important for these organ systems. We recommend proper hydration by drinking 8-10 (8 ounce) glasses of water each day. Infused water with fresh fruit and herbs is very healthy, vibrant, colorful and fun to try.

WATER INTAKE

WE TREAT DIFFICULT DISEASES USING NATURAL MEDICINE ONLY

 Recommended Water Intake

We recommend drinking 8-10 (8 ounce) glasses of water each day, which equals about 64-80 ounces. Quite simply, there really isn’t a better drink than just plain good-quality water. Most people would agree that drinking water is a satisfying and enjoyable act, but for those who do not like to drink water, try drinking small amounts more frequently, drink some warm tea, or add fresh fruits to infuse your water.

Remember that a sure sign the kidneys are being hurt by dehydration is the presence of dark colored urine. This is a good indicator that the body needs more water. Dduring fall season, according to the laws of natural medicine and the biothermomic temperature, when the weather begins to cool down, the water that we drink should not be iced or directly from the refrigerated.

Our body is 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit) and drinking room temperature water is already cooling down the body during this season. We do not need the added pressure of cold temperature foods to slow down metabolism, suppress the immune system and hinder the circulatory system, especially on cold days as we move into colder weather during these autumn and winter months.

  Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

What is IBS?

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a chronic condition that affects the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. They cause frequent abdominal pains and irregular bowel movements that occur together. Irritable bowel syndrome can occur without any indication of visible damage or disease in the GI tract. They change the way the muscles contracts in the intestinal tract that result in diarrhea, constipation or both.

Acupuncture to Benefit IBS

Acupuncture and herbal medicine induce homeostatic response on the cellular level by influencing the body’s internal organs to correct imbalances in their digestion, absorption, and energy production activities. They stimulate the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These chemicals will change the experience of pain, or they will trigger the release of other chemicals and hormones which influence the body’s own internal regulating system. Acupuncture helps irritable bowel syndrome by strengthening the internal organs, restoring the gastrointestinal tract muscle contractions, and improving the patient's quality of life. Acupuncture is safe and painless. There are no drugs or hazardous equipment used and no surgical operation.

ALL OF OUR TREATMENT PLANS ARE TAILORED AND PERSONALIZED

 Treatment of IBS

Treatments for irritable bowel syndrome focuses on relieving the signs and symptoms. Treatment depends on the pattern of changes in the patient's bowel movements. An individual with mild signs and symptoms can control their symptoms by changing their diet and lifestyle. If the condition is moderate or severe, medication and counseling are recommended to relieve the symptoms. Medication is treated for diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain. However, some medicines work only for certain types of IBS and can make other types worse.

     Case Studies

A study was done at Yiwu Central Hospital on 86 patients with IBD-D that was randomly divided into a control group and an observation group. The control group received herbal medicine three times a day over 30 days, and the observation group received herbal medicine (same as the control group) and acupuncture five times a week over 30 days. Results showed herbal medicine and acupuncture combined recovery rate was 34.9% with a total effective rate of 90.7% compared to recover rate of 18.6% and an overall effective rate of 79.1% for the control group.

Testimonials on Agape Natural Health has proven acupuncture and herbal medicine has successfully treated patients with irritable bowel syndrome. Agape was able to restore their patients' balance and improve their quality of life. Here is what their patients have to say after receiving acupuncture:

"I suffered from terrible cramping, fatigue, loss of appetite, skin dryness, hair loss, diarrhea and constipation. I was not feeling well and was tired. I quit work, had no social life and lost spirit. I have been extremely healthy all my life, but the IBS was progressive and began to rule my life. I was hoping someone could help. My medical doctor prescribed two sessions of antibiotics, and then I was prescribed Librax which I took for 6 months. I had side effects such as drowsiness and my stomach was uneasy. I got temporary relief but I felt like a guinea pig, and the medication did not treat the cause...Within the first day of getting the acupuncture and herbal medicine I noticed improvements. Within one week, I was 75% better and the cramps stopped. With the herbs and diet change, I have never had cramping again and my energy has improved. After 2 months of treatment, I have improved 100%." - N.T., Costa Mesa, CA

"I was told it was IBS. With a list of things to keep away from my diet I was sent home. I continued to experience problems and I would constantly be in the restroom. I finally returned to the Dr in 2003. I had a endoscopy and colonoscopy done; that's when I was diagnosed with microscopic colitis, which caused me to have severe diarrhea. I was given a steroid medication which it didn't help out at all. I would have 8-10 bowel movements a day. I continued this way with repeated procedures every 3 years, having another one on 6-17-2013 with no change no matter what they gave me...I started treatment In June 2015 with flare ups through out the treatment but my bowl movements a day started to decrease. I had my procedures repeated on 7-31-2015. I was told there was nothing wrong with me - no signs of microscopic colitis; all came back fine with no findings." - J.C.
