What better day than today, Thanksgiving 2017, to thank Dr. Huang and his incredible staff for helping me get pregnant with my beautiful second daughter. 2015 was a tough year; not only did I have two miscarriages, but my reproductive endocrinologist told my husband and I that due to my high FSH levels and age, 43, I would never be able to conceive again. I left the doctor’s office feeling heartbroken, but something in me told me that this was not how this chapter in my life was to end. I still had hope and as they say, “when there is a will, there is a way”. That following week, I did some online research and found a story on a blog that I connected with. That story led me to Dr. Huang. I called his office immediately after reading this women’s success story. Dr. Huang’s staff was great in answering my initial questions and getting me the appointment I needed.  I met with Dr. Huang and immediately knew that I was in the right place. He has an amazing bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable during our initial consultation. I began treatment three times a week in March 2016. I followed a diet he recommend for me and also took some herbal pills.

I got pregnant in September 2016 and continued to see him during the duration of my pregnancy.  

Going to my doctor’s appointments were always filled with anxiety and fear, but after every test I had to take to see the health of the baby, the results always came back with good news.

Dr. Huang and all of his staff are amazing! They are friendly, professional and welcoming. They are also kid friendly! That is a big plus for me. My 6 year old son has been in treatment with Dr. Huang due to his Autism/speech delay. I must say it has been one of the best decisions we have made. I immediately started to notice improvement, within just a couple sessions my son showed to be more alert and responsive. He is now speaking  using 3-4 word sentences! I had struggled with a bad case of Eczema, in which itchy red sores appeared all over my skin. After visiting five different doctors over the course of a year, I found that none of them could help me. One of them gave me a cream to help relieve the itching, but it was bad for my skin in other ways. I came to Agape Acupuncture on the suggestion of my pastor's wife, whose friend had a good experience here. The treatment wasn't what I was used to - acupuncture sessions, dieting, herbal pills, and a natural cream that wouldn't harm my skin. However, within a few months, I could see dramatic improvement. I was able to go out and do things without feeling constant discomfort. I was able to wear clothes that previously were too harsh on my skin. Dr. Huang is likely the friendliest doctor I've ever met. I went to Dr. Huang after being told by Primary care physician that there was nothing they could do for a weakened immune system.  Dr. Huang carefully looked at all of the medical data and validated the condition, but told me that he was able to help.   I had been sick for several months rotating through antibiotics, I had lost 30 lbs and needed to take a trip overseas, but could not take the required immunizations in my condition.  Dr. Huang confidently informed me that I would make the trip, prayed for me then began treating me with diet change, herbal supplements and acupuncture.  In a few months I went overseas.  As an added benefit I am off of cholesterol medications and have the best cholesterol levels since I was 20.  Dr. Huang and his staff are amazing.  He won't lie to you, he'll tell you if he can help you or not and he knows what he is doing.  I recommend Agape Acupuncture to everyone I know.  I can't stop thanking God for healing me by the loving hands of Agape Acupuncture.

My second time with Dr. Haung. He has treated me before with success every time.
I avoid your average doctor and the pharmaceutical industry because they never treat the problem. I have digestive issues and sometimes it gets difficult because it affects my eating. In April 2008 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. I was shocked and concerned due to my father having the same health issue. I had a very abnormal digestive process, bouts of diarrhea and lack of energy. I also felt bloated and weak. My food selection was limited. I also had a Colonoscopy (upper and lower GI) and a CAT scan. While taking these medications I had side effects of weakness and joint pain. It maintained my symptoms more than reversed the disease. The medications stabilized my symptoms and I had an occasional flare up – even though I was taking my medications.

A friend referred me to Dr. Huang and I began coming to Natural Medicine Center on April 28, 2011. I was hoping that it would reverse the Crohn’s Disease and give me energy that would sustain me. The clinic had a professional - extremely nice atmosphere and very friendly. I was not very educated on natural medicine and not aware of everything it could do. Slowly I began to wean myself off the medications. Within the first 3 months I began to feel better. I had increased energy and quality of life. The process included different portions of the body stimulated via a needle to bring healing. I had very positive results! I’m totally free of drug medications. On August 30, 2011, I had a stroke. It happened during a procedure for an angiogram to put in two stents. A piece of plaque was chipped off which caused the stroke. Prior to this ordeal, I was very happy and healthy. As a result of the stroke, I was paralyzed on the right side and could not walk. My speech was impeded and I couldn’t use my right hand until physical therapy. I also received speech therapy and occupational therapy. Recovering from a stroke takes time, the 90 day window is very important. I sought all the help I could get during those 90 days.

Dr. Huang is awesome! He treated my dad a couple of years ago. My dad suffered depression because of his immune system being very low. I remember being in and out of the hospital because of his symptoms. He was unable to swallow liquids and food. He would get panic attacks and feel like he was unable to breathe. He would always be so tired and sometimes he would pass out. He lost weight do to him not being able to eat. He was scared to be alone so someone had to always be with him at all times. Doctors tests would come out fine. Many times they would just recommend a psychologist because they would say my dad was fine. That's when my dad walked in to see Dr. Huang, he immediately started treating him and my dad started to feel better. Today my dad is back to normal thanks to God first and for Dr. Huang who was always there for my family through that time. I learned a lot from the time my dad was recovering and learned that even though doctors might tell us we are fine, but if our bodies are not feeling well then there is something wrong. I became a firm believer in holistic medicine since then. Dr. Huang also treated my acne, something products did not do for me. I tried so many products and my face was getting dried and scarred. After treatment with Dr. Huang I stayed acne free majority of the time. I get one here and there now but nothing compared to what I use to have. The staff is amazing and the environment is relaxing!

When I first came to Natural Medicine Center – I was very anxious. My 14 year old daughter was not well and this has been off and on for a year. It got to a point where it just got worse. In 2009 I was diagnosed with hives, which made me scared. I had it all over my body. I was itchy all the time even in the middle of the night and I could not sleep. I didn’t have a strong immune system and was always sick. I couldn’t go anywhere or do anything – it really affected my life. At first, I thought I had allergies to something. CLINICAL EXPERIENCE | STAGE 4 CANCEROUS BRAIN TUMOR | FREE FROM CANCER | God’s Providence and His use of Acupuncture via Dr. Huang to Prompt Healing

On May 3, 2011 I was diagnosed with a Stage 4 cancerous brain tumor. This was totally unexpected for I never had headaches or symptoms that would have led me to believe something was amiss until the last few weeks of April 2011. At that time I was having an equilibrium problem as well as headaches. I was living up north in Walnut Creek, CA with my wife but had been having follow up appointments at UCI Medical Center for a previous bout with sinus cancer in 2002. That surgery was done at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco but because of a job transfer to Southern CA my follow up was done at UCI. I was in Tustin visiting family when I saw my ENT at UCI and told him of my symptoms he suggested a CT scan, which I had, and it revealed the tumor. I was back in Walnut Creek when the results of the scan were made known to me.

On May 3rd my wife and I rushed down to UCI and I was admitted and after more testing it was determined that it was Stage 4 Cancer. The surgical removal of the tumor took place on May 5th. In God’s providence the timing of all this and the success of the surgery was a blessing from
Him to say the least. The Doctors at UCI were puzzled trying to determine where these tumors had come from. The pathology reports from the tumor indicated it was the same type as colon cancer. I was sent to the Oncology Doctor to begin an aggressive Chemotherapy treatment. Pet scans reveled five tumors, four in my lungs and one near my liver. The chemo really began to wreck havoc on my body not only from the residual effects of the treatment but because of the previous sinus cancer surgery and radiation in 2002 another problem arose. The scar tissue in my mouth which hadn’t given me a problem for years was affected and the mouth / jaw began to swell and close up. I couldn’t speak or eat without pain and I was losing weight at an alarming rate.

Thus enter Dr. Huang. A friend of my daughters had told her of the amazing results she experienced at NMC and my daughter suggested maybe acupuncture might help. I was desperate and had been asking the Lord to give me guidance as to what I should do. I wanted to be in the center of His will and knew He could heal me outright or use Doctors and medicine to accomplish His will for me. In His providence He led me to meet with Dr. Huang and I was so impressed with his professionalism and that of his staff that I knew God had led me to NMC. So what happened? Through acupuncture, the care of Dr, Huang and his staff, the herbs and teas I took and a special cancer preventative diet here is what transpired:

• I was able, through acupuncture, to weather the onslaught of the chemo with better than expected recovery between chemo infusions and the acupuncture kicked my immune system into gear.
• My mouth began to heal and I was, in a matter of months, able to speak clearly and eat without pain.
• With the combination of excellent medical care at UCI and the care from Dr. Huang and his staff I am now, on March 5, 2012, free from cancer and on a fast recovery
track.

I thank the Lord each day for the gift He has given to Dr. Huang to use acupuncture to bring additional healing to me according to God’s will.

Between May 2017-July 2017, our daughter got Early Onset OCD and Tourette’s. Almost overnight, our carefree and happy daughter became worried all the time, plagued with rituals and ticks all day long. She literally could not even look us in the eyes or concentrate on a conversation because of her ticks. We were told that this happens to some children as their hormones change. It was recommended that we put her on medication. We did not want to put our daughter on the medication because of the side effects.

I remembered years prior when Dr. Huang healed me from a liver problem I was having. So, I gave him a call to see if he could help our daughter. He said that we should not delay, and that he believed he could help. We were so worried because we felt we were losing our daughter. So, we flew from our home in South Carolina and stayed in Orange County for a month to get her help.

We had our daughter do acupuncture treatments along with the herbs recommended by Dr. Huang. The results have truly been nothing short of a miracle! After the second day, we began to see a drastic reduction in her ticks. She was able to look us in the eyes and concentrate much better. As time passed, we noticed some good days and some not so good days. But as the month progressed further, there were less and less bad days and many more good days.

We leave CA tomorrow to head back home, and I am so thrilled that her ticks are 95% gone. After just one month!! The results have far exceeded what I thought could be done in one month. She still has some fears related to the OCD. However, many of her fears are gone! More are disappearing every day and we feel like we have our daughter back. Before, she had a heaviness about her, but now she is her normal, care-free self. She will continue to take the herbs back home, and I am confident that she will continue to improve.

I recommend Dr. Huang and Dr. Yeh. They are professional, friendly and caring. I researched many places and ended up coming here because they have a good reputation in the area and are known for their medical expertise. I recovered quicker than expected and after just 1 month of following their directions on diet, lifestyle and taking herbs and getting acupuncture treatments, my elevated liver enzymes and high cholesterol and high triglycerides are normal. My Journey started 25 years ago, when I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, a form of connective tissue arthritis. Shortly after this I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. This was followed by endometriosis, IBS, upper G.I inflammation, eyeritis, and ending with the most terrible condition called IC or interstitial cystitis; a very painful chronic bladder condition. All these conditions are a problem of the autoimmune system.

Over these 25 years, all of the other issues, with the help of doctors, medications, nutritionists and self-research, I was able to treat the conditions. But it was like putting band-aids on huge wounds. However, NOTHING helped the IC. I went to a urologist for several years. He used a treatment called DMSO, which is a bladder catheterization with a solution designed to coat the bladder in an attempt to temporarily replace the mucus lining naturally found in the bladder. (It is assumed that IC patients lack this lining.) I did these treatments in his office, once or more a month for several years. The treatments were frequently painful and always uncomfortable. They were better than nothing, but they barely got me through from treatment to treatment.

After a couple of years of this, I started realizing that my hair was falling out. The last six treatments had caused nausea, and one morning I woke up with a sense that I was slowly dying. I went in for the next treatment and this one hurt so bad. When I sat up on the exam table, after the installation of DMSO, pain shot through my bladder and down my legs, I thought I was going to lose the solution, which I had to hold for 20 minutes, I realized then, I had to do something else. DMSO was not working for me.

Through a friend I learned about Dr. Huang and Agape Acupuncture; and the Lord started to change my life. With Dr. Kevin's guidance of acupuncture, herbs, diet change, regular sleep and exercise, I am now more than 95% better! This a miracle. Often times, Dr. Kevin knew more about IC than the urologist. For example, he told me to stop eating sugar. Only now are the urologists (some of them) suggesting IC patients stop eating sugar. Dr. Kevin was way ahead of the curve on that one!

It is so wonderful to be free of that terrible pain caused by the IC. And my low grade depression is gone too! As a bonus, I have more energy, strength and stamina than I have had in 25 years. The fibromyalgia has significantly decreased, the ache of the arthritis is much better; and I have been able to lower the dosage of a stomach medication. It feels so good to wake up earlier in the mornings and feel ready to tackle the day.

I am grateful to the Lord for bringing Dr. Kevin into my life and using him to heal me. Autoimmune conditions can be very frustrating, so Dr. Kevin's patience and encouragement has been greatly appreciated. I also love his kind staff who are always helpful and have a kind smile for me.

Years ago, I had some complications after giving birth to my daughter that led to health issues, and it really put a strain on my liver. I went to the doctor because I was having pain in my abdomen area. They ran tests to find that my liver ALT (Alanine Aminotransferase, which tests for liver damage) levels were close to 300, when they are suppose to be 25 or less. (If the liver is damaged, it will release more ALT into the blood and levels will rise.) The doctor had no answers or solutions for me.

I was referred to Dr. Huang by a friend and went to him out of desperation. From the moment I walked into the office and met Dr. Huang, I could tell that he genuinely cared for my well being. For 3 months, I was faithful and consistent in taking the herbs and acupuncture that he recommended. After the 3 months, I had my ALT levels checked again to find that the levels were normal!! Still, all these years later, my liver remains healthy. I really believe that Dr. Huang is gifted and just so knowledgeable. I will most certainly look to him for help with any future health related issues.

I have now known Dr. Huang for over 10 years and consider him and his wife dear friends. PATIENT REFERRALS ARE THE GREATEST ENCOURAGEMENTS WE COULD EVER RECEIVE | AT AGAPE ACUPUNCTURE, WE KNOW THAT OUR PATIENTS WHO GET WELL AND HAVE HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT OUR OFFICE WILL REFER US TO THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILY | THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING US FOR YOUR HEALTHCARE NEEDS | They ran tests to find that my liver ALT (Alanine Aminotransferase, which tests for liver damage) levels were close to 300, when they are suppose to be 25 or less. (If the liver is damaged, it will release more ALT into the blood and levels will rise.) The doctor had no answers or solutions for me. I was referred to Dr. Huang by a friend and went to him out of desperation. From the moment I walked into the office and met Dr. Huang, I could tell that he genuinely cared for my well being. For 3 months, I was faithful and consistent in taking the herbs and acupuncture that he recommended.

Five years ago I woke up in the morning and I can't walk due to swelling and stiffness on the knee. My primary doctor referred me to a specialist. Specialist said I have Patellar Tendinitis due to the fact that I run about 5 to 6 miles everyday. I go slightly better after 2 months. Immediately after that I had severe pain on my heel and this time the specialist gives me medicine for Achilles Tendinitis. Since I was not getting better for almost a month another doctor said it was Haglund's deformity. One month after that my hands and figure start swelling, this time doctor said Rheumatoid Arthritis. For the next 4 months my pain and swelling start to rotate in different parts of my body such as my back, neck and leg. Finally the doctor starts to prescribe steroid to help me relieve the pain. I was 38 years old at that time and realize steroid is only going to make things worse. After weeks and weeks of research I finally found Agape Acupuncture.

Dr. Kevin told me immediately all my sickness are due to Autoimmune. It will take about 6 months to treat and I need to follow a strict diet, & don’t do anything that is stressful. I told him about my dream of going back to school and wanting to become an attorney. Dr. Kevin warned me law school is stressful and you will need tune ups if you are planning to go to law school. I got fully healed one month earlier than Dr. Kevin's prognosis. Now I am happily married, proud father of two children and just finished 3 years of law school. I just came back from a tune up before my last year of law school. I am thankful to Jesus for helping me find Dr. Kevin.

His staff was very kind and professional, and he treated me with compassion and explained that I needed to come in for acupuncture several times a week. I also purchased tablets and teas.
