When I was in Kindergarten, my parents noticed my face and legs swell up from water retention. After visiting a doctor, they said I had childhood onset, minimal change nephrotic syndrome.

My mom, being the research-warrior that she is, decided to take me to Agape Natural Health, and commit to a natural medicine regime: very limited sugar and salt in my foods, juicing and clean foods, plus acupuncture and herbs. I was young and couldn’t swallow the herbs yet, so we got creative and ground them up with a mortar and pistol and mixed them into applesauce.

Six years ago, I found myself battling HBP (High Blood Pressure) due to overwhelming stress. I have been struggling with Systemic Sclerosis, also known as scleroderma, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), Anxiety, and Stress for about three years now. Systemic Sclerosis, an autoimmune disease, has particularly affected me as it causes the body to attack itself. In my case, inflammation of the esophagus, stomach pain, and constant heartburn.

WHAT IS ECZEMA?

Eczema is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that leads to red, dry, and itchy skin. The cause of eczema is unknown. Eczema is linked to an over-active immune system. Over time, the skin will thicken, crack, scale, and turn into red to brownish-gray patches. For infants, they may experience eczema outbreaks on their head and scalp.

MODERN MEDICINE TREATMENT FOR ECZEMA | DRUG MEDICINE TREATMENT

There is no cure for eczema. Treatments vary from medication to home remedies to help relieve itching and prevent new outbreaks, but not all treatment will work for everyone. It may take various treatments or home remedies for several months or years to control eczema. Topical cream or ointment prescribed by their doctor can help control itch and repair the skin, but with overuse of the medication, it can cause thin skin, affects the immune system, and have black box warning of the potential risk of cancer. This place is amazing!!! For 6 long months, I was covered head to toe in hives everyday. I went to so many doctors and allergy specialists just trying to figure out why they just randomly appeared one day when I have never had any allergies before! In 2009 I was diagnosed with hives, which made me scared. I had it all over my body. I was itchy all the time even in the middle of the night and I could not sleep. I suffered from a rash on the stomach, which was red in color. There was itching and I was worried about the rash. I used an “over the counter” anti-itch cream to temporary relieve the itch for rash for short term. I wasn’t satisfied with the cream because it didn’t fix the issue in the long term. I also had shoulder and neck pains and stiffness, which occurred in the past that kept me from looking while driving and I had chiropractor care.

I was diagnosed with body wide hives and it progressed over time. I always thought I was relatively healthy and when it happened it shook up my life and made the simplest things really hard. The extreme hives were really itchy and uncomfortable. The angioedema and swelling made it hard to breath and swallow and was really uncomfortable all the time. I really couldn’t do anything - I couldn’t go to work and I couldn’t be active. The Allergist, Endocrinologist and ER doctors prescribed medications, but Antihistamines and steroids didn’t do anything. They seemed to mask my pain rather than fix it. Treatment of Dermatitis or Rashes by modern medicine:
