When I was in Kindergarten, my parents noticed my face and legs swell up from water retention. After visiting a doctor, they said I had childhood onset, minimal change nephrotic syndrome.
My mom, being the research-warrior that she is, decided to take me to Agape Natural Health, and commit to a natural medicine regime: very limited sugar and salt in my foods, juicing and clean foods, plus acupuncture and herbs. I was young and couldn’t swallow the herbs yet, so we got creative and ground them up with a mortar and pistol and mixed them into applesauce.
About two years of acupuncture treatment from Dr. Huang and the staff at Agape Natural Health and lots of prayer from family and friends, I was miraculously healed. Up until that point, my body showed no signs of healing, but about three years after the diagnosis, my nephrotic syndrome completely disappeared.
July of 2017 marked the five year checkpoint without a relapse, so I was officially released from nephrotic care at CHOC Children’s hospital, the hospital that diagnosed my condition in the first place.
The doctors there were shocked and couldn’t figure out what switched in my steroid-dependent, young body. I was the first child to be released from that section of CHOC in two years. But I know that’s the healing work of God, using natural medicine, foods, and acupuncture to heal the body that He created.

IT IS TRULY A MIRACLE TO BE IN COMPLETE REMISSION FOR MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS (MS).
Six years ago, I found myself battling HBP (High Blood Pressure) due to overwhelming stress. Then, to my devastation, shock, and horror, about three years ago, I received the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis—a progressive autoimmune disorder where my immune system attacks my central nervous system, causing lesions. Neurologists informed me that I had multiple lesions on my brain. The left side of my body became weak to the point where I couldn’t walk. Fatigue overwhelmed me, and simple tasks like writing became a struggle. My speech was affected, and I found it difficult to articulate my thoughts. Additionally, my vision deteriorated.
My son took me to urgent care, where the doctor provided me with crutches. During physical therapy, I found myself toppling over, and when I was admitted to the hospital, I underwent a five-day steroid treatment. Eventually, I was provided with a walker, but when my medication dosage was lowered. I experienced a relapse, prompting an increase in dosage. Fearing for my health, I turned to prayer, knowing that God is a healer. I felt guided to seek natural treatment at Agape Natural Health, led by Dr. Huang, due to the positive experiences my family had with their clinic.

I have been struggling with Systemic Sclerosis, also known as scleroderma, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), Anxiety, and Stress for about three years now. Systemic Sclerosis, an autoimmune disease, has particularly affected me as it causes the body to attack itself. In my case, inflammation of the esophagus, stomach pain, and constant heartburn.
Scleroderma can affect any part of the digestive system, from the esophagus to the rectum.
While I've experienced minor GERD since September 2017, it worsened significantly three years ago. I was constantly plagued by heartburn, stomach pain and chest pain, and I found myself burping all day. It began to affect every aspect of my life, from work to relationships. Socializing and going out to eat became incredibly difficult, and I couldn't even enjoy meals with my family.
Endoscopy confirmed the inflammation of the esophagus due to Systemic Sclerosis and GERD. The prescribed medications didn't help at all and I was feeling miserable. Dr. Huang is awesome! He treated my dad a couple of years ago. My dad suffered depression because of his immune system being very low. I remember being in and out of the hospital because of his symptoms. He was unable to swallow liquids and food. He would get panic attacks and feel like he was unable to breathe. He would always be so tired and sometimes he would pass out. He lost weight do to him not being able to eat. He was scared to be alone so someone had to always be with him at all times. Doctors tests would come out fine. Many times they would just recommend a psychologist because they would say my dad was fine. That's when my dad walked in to see Dr. Huang, he immediately started treating him and my dad started to feel better. Today my dad is back to normal thanks to God first and for Dr. Huang who was always there for my family through that time. I learned a lot from the time my dad was recovering and learned that even though doctors might tell us we are fine, but if our bodies are not feeling well then there is something wrong. I became a firm believer in holistic medicine since then. Dr. Huang also treated my acne, something products did not do for me. I tried so many products and my face was getting dried and scarred. After treatment with Dr. Huang I stayed acne free majority of the time. I get one here and there now but nothing compared to what I use to have. The staff is amazing and the environment is relaxing!
