Six years ago, I found myself battling HBP (High Blood Pressure) due to overwhelming stress. Then, to my devastation, shock, and horror, about three years ago, I received the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis—a progressive autoimmune disorder where my immune system attacks my central nervous system, causing lesions. Neurologists informed me that I had multiple lesions on my brain. The left side of my body became weak to the point where I couldn’t walk. Fatigue overwhelmed me, and simple tasks like writing became a struggle. My speech was affected, and I found it difficult to articulate my thoughts. Additionally, my vision deteriorated.
My son took me to urgent care, where the doctor provided me with crutches. During physical therapy, I found myself toppling over, and when I was admitted to the hospital, I underwent a five-day steroid treatment. Eventually, I was provided with a walker, but when my medication dosage was lowered. I experienced a relapse, prompting an increase in dosage. Fearing for my health, I turned to prayer, knowing that God is a healer. I am a 69-year-old patient who has been seeking treatment at Agape Natural Health since March 2021, driving all the way from Los Angeles to Newport Beach on a weekly basis for acupuncture treatments and herbal supplements. When I first arrived at the clinic, I had been battling diabetes for 16 years and was reliant on medications to manage my condition but my blood sugar continued to trend up over the years and beginning to become out of control.
In addition, a pulmonary nodule of 1.3 cm was discovered in March 2021, adding to my serious health concerns. I had arthritic pain and very low energy and weight gain issues. My blood pressure was also high for many years, and my A1C level was alarmingly high at 9.6.

“After a month of acupuncture I felt my strength return slowly but surely. My gout attacks, controlled. The cramping went away. By the second month, my comprehensive blood test results showed my body was functioning at a near normal state. Last July 24h, four days before I was to return home to Canada, I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in the ER of Hoag Hospital in Irvine. What I thought was an asthma attack turned out to be far worse. At 52, I neither smoked nor drank nor indulged in any other bad habit that could lead to CHF. What I did have was hypertension, which I thought was controlled by Perindopril. I was wrong. In my four day stay at the hospital: (1)I lost 25lbs. of water; (2)I learned my heart's ejection function was on at 30%; and, (3) I suffered from chronic kidney disease caused by CHF. I felt so weak and scared. I was also cramping all over my body which made moving very difficult and painful. The cardiologist gave me 4 different types of meds for my CHF, 2 meds for gout (the unfortunate side effects of CHF medications) and magnesium pills for the cramping. My water intake was controlled. And I was placed on a low-salt diet-2000mg a day.
In August, as soon as I was stable, my older sister and brother-in-law took me to see Dr. Kevin Huang. Right away his warmth and kindness made me feel comfortable. His office staff was courteous, professional and accommodating.

I started going to Agape Acupuncture on November 6th 2017 primarily for my facial paralysis along with high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and gastritis as my secondary illness. I was first diagnosed on November 1st of 2017 and suffered no more than week before seeing Dr. Huang for my medical conditions. After hearing the news, I was scared and worried that my facial paralysis was not going to get cured. I had a hard time drinking water, communicating with people and I didn’t want to go outside so I decided to stay home most of the time, it was very depressing for me. I went to Natural Medicine Center a few years ago due to low hormone. Prior to visiting Dr. Huang, my OBGY doctor always prescribed me the hormone replacement medicine or external hormone cream to use. His opinion is that they will have more benefit for me instead of harming my body. Actually I never go to fill out any of the prescriptions. All my surrounding friends or relatives do not use either of them. Of course I am skeptical about breast cancer side effect. I was at the stage of causing myself bleeding if I did not do anything for myself.
With the warning of bleeding, one day God made me to read the ad at Huntington Beach local newspaper. I made first visit and talked with Dr. Huang. Then I started treatment with acupuncture, herb and food limitation. It did help me stop feeling discomfort. Within the last few years I had other treatments to maintain my old body. Our body is exactly like a car, or plant or flower. We need adjust or give nutrient to get rid of bad cells to replenish with new cells.
My second testimony is my high blood pressure. I used to be at the borderline of taking modern medicine to control it. I have been became normal pressure for many years. After my blood pressure became normal, I told so many people who are on the drug. However they don't believe or they still trust the modern medicine. But I am very happy that I use natural way to help myself. I am highly recommend that try to use natural way to help yourself if you have the same problem.

I started having high blood pressure 8 years ago and I felt sad when I received the diagnosis. It is hard to describe but my head and ears felt strange. I stopped riding the rides at the fair when I found out I had HBP. I took drug medications prescribed by my M.D.: 1 per day and continued for 8 years. At times the drug medications would work and at other times the drug medications would not work. Modern medicine only offered me the drugs and to continue taking them.
