I started going to Agape Acupuncture on November 6th 2017 primarily for my facial paralysis along with high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and gastritis as my secondary illness. I was first diagnosed on November 1st of 2017 and suffered no more than week before seeing Dr. Huang for my medical conditions. After hearing the news, I was scared and worried that my facial paralysis was not going to get cured. I had a hard time drinking water, communicating with people and I didn’t want to go outside so I decided to stay home most of the time, it was very depressing for me. I sought much help from conventional doctors and all they would do was prescribed me pills. It was then that my son stepped in and researched other alternatives for me. He stumbled across many testimonies at Agape Acupuncture that resembled a lot of what I was going through and after seeing the photos, and reading other people’s story myself I was absolutely convinced that Dr. Huang was able to help. In April 2008 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. I was shocked and concerned due to my father having the same health issue. I had a very abnormal digestive process, bouts of diarrhea and lack of energy. I also felt bloated and weak. My food selection was limited. Different foods that I would eat would have an adverse affect on my digestive system. I always made sure I was close to a restroom. My condition was constantly on my mind and I wondered what the future held for me. Over all it was an unknown type of illness that would affect me down the road. I thought I would never have a normal life.
My MD prescribed two different types of medications Entocort and Mercaptopurine. The treatments offered to me were medications and doctor visits. I also had a Colonoscopy (upper and lower GI) and a CAT scan. While taking these medications I had side effects of weakness and joint pain. It maintained my symptoms more than reversed the disease. The medications stabilized my symptoms and I had an occasional flare up – even though I was taking my medications.
A friend referred me to Dr. Huang and I began coming to Natural Medicine Center on April 28, 2011. I was hoping that it would reverse the Crohn’s Disease and give me energy that would sustain me. The clinic had a professional - extremely nice atmosphere and very friendly. I was not very educated on natural medicine and not aware of everything it could do. The staff is the absolute best. They are professional, kind, and very attentive. The staff always made me feel welcomed and as if I was at home. In addition, the rooms were always clean. I have to mention also that I never had to wait more than five minutes for my appointment. Where do you get that kind of service at a doctor's office, you don’t! Dr. Huang is compassionate and caring. He listens to you and encourages you. Most of all, he truly reflects the love of God! I truly believe that the Lord worked through Dr. Huang to heal me. In September 2015, I found out I had erosive gastritis, hiatal hernia. After many visits to doctors and specialists, my stomach wasn't getting any better. Then, in December 2015, doctors found I had SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth). The medicine I was given made everything worse. So in my search for relief from the pain, I started looking on the internet for some kind of help. That is when I came across Agape Acupuncture. As a Christian, I believe God had directed me here. I called and spoke with Dr. Huang. I was amazed to be able to actually speak to the doctor. When I've called other offices, the doctor is usually unavailable and I am asked to leave a voice message. Not with Dr. Huang, he answered all of my questions and after the call, I scheduled my first appointment on January 23, 2016.
