I am a 69-year-old patient who has been seeking treatment at Agape Natural Health since March 2021, driving all the way from Los Angeles to Newport Beach on a weekly basis for acupuncture treatments and herbal supplements. When I first arrived at the clinic, I had been battling diabetes for 16 years and was reliant on medications to manage my condition but my blood sugar continued to trend up over the years and beginning to become out of control.
In addition, a pulmonary nodule of 1.3 cm was discovered in March 2021, adding to my serious health concerns. I had arthritic pain and very low energy and weight gain issues. My blood pressure was also high for many years, and my A1C level was alarmingly high at 9.6.
However, my experience at Agape Natural Health has been nothing short of remarkable. The dedicated and knowledgeable staff, along with the expertise of Dr. Huang, has transformed my health and well-being. I am overjoyed to share that after several months of treatment, my A1C level dropped significantly to 7.4 in November 2022 from 9.6 Feb, 2021, leaving my doctors astonished and elated at the outstanding results.
To my surprise and delight, on August 26, 2022, a follow-up examination revealed that the pulmonary nodule had completely disappeared. This news left my doctor in disbelief, and I couldn't be more grateful for the positive impact that the treatments at Agape Natural Healh have had on my overall health. Not only have I experienced weight loss and increased energy levels, but I have also noticed a significant reduction in my reliance on medications. Furthermore, my blood pressure has shown improvement, and my body aches and pains have greatly diminished.

On February 15, 2013, patient TJ came in Agape Natural Health of Orange County seeking help for hypothyroidism. TJ suffers from hypothyroidism for nearly two years. Hypothyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough hormone. With a deficiency of thyroid hormones, it disrupts the heart rate, body temperature, and all aspects of metabolism. During TJ consultation with Dr. Huang, she expressed how hypothyroidism had slowed down her metabolic rate causing her to experience sweaty palms and feet, weight gain, low energy, and muscle aches. Based on the information that was discussed during the consult, Dr. Huang recommends acupuncture and herbal medicine to restore TJ’s health.
TJ began her acupuncture treatment and herbal supplements immediately. Within the first week of treatment, she felt better. She didn’t sweat as much and gained energy. After the first month of treatment, her sweating palms and feet, muscle aches, and energy had improved. By doing a combination of acupuncture and herbal supplements, it gradually restored her hormone balance.
Due to the lack of thyroid hormone production, levothyroxine sodium medication is used to treat hypothyroidism by replacing or providing more thyroid hormone. With blood test run every three months, TJ thyroid test results improved every time. Her thyroid hormones reached within the normal range, allowing her physician to decrease her thyroid medication from 125 mcg to 75 mcg.
While TJ progressively continued her acupuncture treatment and herbal supplements, her body continued to heal itself. Every three months, her thyroid blood test results came back positive. Her thyroid was progressively getting better and staying within normal range. TJ primary physician continued to decrease her thyroid medication in increment of 25 mcg after every blood test result.

Compassionate is an understatement when I talk about Doctor Kevin!!
When I found dr. Kevin I was absolutely desperate. My daughter at 13 years old was no longer living a life a 13 year old should live. She no longer could show up to school, participate in gymnastics, she didn't want to have friends over because she was so afraid of how she would feel she didn't want to go to friends houses because she was so afraid of how she would feel. It completely broke my heart. To see my daughter who was so social all of a sudden want to do nothing or couldn't do anything I guess is a better word.
I was desperately searching the internet for anything for mold toxicity and Lyme disease and came across Agape Acupuncture. (Such a God thing)
I tried so many other things! I have a phenomenal modern medicine doctor who completely thinks outside the box, I have an incredible chiropractor that does up & beyond what I've ever seen with a holistic doctor and I've seen many other amazing people to help support my daughter.
But still her energy level was so low and she would always just say she felt "icky" and she looked sick. She had dark circles under her eyes no energy to jump around the house anymore no flips and tricks on the trampoline. It seemed every food she would eat would make her cheek swell up we did not know it what to feed her. We already ate extremely healthy about 80 90% organic gluten-free and amazing supplements.

Approximately 1 month ago I was diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression from not getting enough sleep and from work and the care of my child. I was tired and I went to a couple of different doctors and was prescribed a couple meds: anxiety and relax pills. I took drug medications for the month of October, which I felt did not really help.
