In 2014, at the age of 72, I was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's Disease. I had symptoms for a few years before that but was not aware it was Parkinson's until my hand and leg started to shake. On diagnosis the Neurologist gave me medications prescribed for Parkinson's. The medications helped but they do not cure the disease.
Since starting with Dr. Huang, in 2015, I have actually experienced major relief in the symptoms. The tremors in my leg, hand, and lip have nearly ceased.

Along with acupuncture Dr. Kevin is treating me with herbs, diet change, and a three times a day walking schedule. I am feeling stronger and better. Soon, we are planning to come off of the low dosage blood pressure medication I have been taking for the last few years.
When I told my Neurologist about the acupuncture and she could see how well I was doing, she was very surprised! She has not had to up or adjust my medications since her diagnosis, almost 2 years ago. She also said she has had patients use acupuncture for pain management, but never for Parkinson's. She was very pleased for me and encouraged that I am continuing with the acupuncture.

PARKINSON’S DISEASE
No progression in 5 years
“After my first consultation with Dr. Kevin Huang I believed that ‘progressive disease’ did not have to be my prognosis.”
I had symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease in January, 2018 but kept hoping it was something else. I finally saw a neurologist who diagnosed me with PD. The medical doctors kept stressing in was a progressive disease. As my symptoms increased, so did my meds. A friend recommended Dr. Huang who had helped other PD patients.
When I met with Dr. Kevin Huang for the very first time he made it quite clear that God was the One who heals and that he was blessed to be a part of what He was doing. He also shared many success stories and gave me the hope that this disease might not progress with the help of acupuncture, herbs and a change in diet. He seemed a little “over the top” at first, but I soon learned that it was his sincere passion for the Lord and for what he does to help others become well and whole both physically and spiritually,
The entire staff is very professional, but more than that…they are kind, caring and so very attentive. I always felt like their favorite, and they always had time for me. Not once did I feel rushed. When asked each week if I needed to see Dr. Huang, my answer was usually no so that he would be free to serve the patients who really needed him that day, but whenever I communicated to him by email regarding a concern, he was in my room addressing it personally during my next appointment. Every time I left their office I felt relaxed and full of hope. I never once left their office discouraged, which was often the case when I left a medical office.
I started with Agape Natural Health in February, 2019 with a lot of inflammation and PD symptoms increasing. I had my last session in June, 2022…longer than I needed, but truly hated to leave. They have become like family to me.
This month, almost 5 years after my first symptom, the neurologist said, “No progression.” I have reduced my meds from 6 pills a day to 1 1/2 per day. I hope to soon be off all meds and cured completely. God will decide, because He is the healer, but He has used Dr. Huang and his staff at Agape Natural Health mightily in the process.
