BEFORE beginning acupuncture treatments, I spent a greater majority of the day on my back in bed. My legs and feet hurt to stand on and looked like balloons. I had a severe bladder infection, needing to change my men’s depend briefs up to 10-12 times a day. I was exhausted all the time, unbalanced in walking that caused falls on several occasions bumping my head, foggy mind with seeing and talking to many guests that came to our house that according to my wife were never there. My name is J.J. and I began seeing Dr. Huang in July 2012. I was referred to him from a friend who began helping me with some stubborn health issues I had. For one, I had stage 2-3 bladder cancer, emphasis on HAD because thanks to Dr. Huang’s amazing touch it is now gone from my CT Scan’s. My bladder is also healing from the eight years of scraping the cancer cell’s off the walls of my bladder since 2004, causing my bladder to no longer function correctly leading me to serious incontinence issues. Now I can feel the bladder working with the actual urge to urinate and so my incontinence has improved significantly in a mere four months from acupuncture treatment. Secondly, I suffered from pitted edema for nearly 60 years of my life. No doctor in the modern medicine world could figure out the cause and no prescription provided any assistance or relief in fact, at times making it worse due to it’s side effects. I never imagined I would see the day that my legs would not be swollen. My right leg is about 95% healed and normal, my left leg is now about 80% healed and both are healing as I continue my treatments. I can actually see my calf muscle flex in both legs! Along with acupuncture Dr. Kevin is treating me with herbs, diet change, and a three times a day walking schedule. I am feeling stronger and better. Soon, we are planning to come off of the low dosage blood pressure medication I have been taking for the last few years.
When I told my Neurologist about the acupuncture and she could see how well I was doing, she was very surprised! She has not had to up or adjust my medications since her diagnosis, almost 2 years ago. She also said she has had patients use acupuncture for pain management, but never for Parkinson's. She was very pleased for me and encouraged that I am continuing with the acupuncture.
I am so thankful for Dr. Kevin, his associate Cherie and the wonderful office staff. My life has greatly improved and my family and friends see a major difference.

"Since starting with Dr. Huang, in 2015, I have actually experienced major relief in the symptoms. The tremors in my leg, hand, and lip have nearly ceased. Another symptom I had, which is known as "masking" is gone. This is when a patient's face is blank and has low responsiveness to interaction with people and events. This is totally gone now due to the treatment at Agape Acupuncture. I have more energy and my interaction with people is better; nearly back to normal."
In 2014, at the age of 72, I was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's Disease. I had symptoms for a few years before that but was not aware it was Parkinson's until my hand and leg started to shake. On diagnosis the Neurologist gave me medications prescribed for Parkinson's. The medications helped but they do not cure the disease.
