I suffered from Celiac Disease for 10 years. As a result, I experienced intestinal pain, bloating and bad reaction to foods. I also suffered with Fibromyalgia for 2 years, and I had chronic pain and extreme fatigue. My initial reaction to the diagnosis of Fibromyalgia and Celiac Disease was – I just was going to have to live with it. Normal tasks were harder. I didn’t go out very much because of the fatigue. My body would react badly to foods so I couldn’t go out to dinner or other social functions. I had gone to many doctors for Celiac Disease and Fibromyalgia. I had a biopsy and blood work and changed my diet to gluten free. I also took drug medications for my condition. All of this was limited relief from modern medicine. Approximately 5 years ago – I stopped pretty much as soon as I started. I never stayed with any of the drug program.
