Since 1990, I have had vaginal and bladder infections. Two years ago, in 2004, I began to have chronic bladder infections and urinary tract infections. I would also get reoccurring yeast infections. I had to stay in bed because the pain and discomfort limited me. My condition affected every part of my life. I was frustrated, sad and scared.
I went to different medical doctors, including a gynecologist and radiologist, and they did a lot of testing. I went from doctor to doctor and they put me on 40 different kinds of antibiotics to treat the chronic infection. The medical doctors just covered the symptoms and did not go to the source. I was exhausted and tired of the infection and there were no results from the treatments.
I was driving by the Natural Medicine Center and decided to come in and try. The clinic is clean and warm, and there is a lot of positive energy. For 37 years, since I was 7 years old, I have had this problem of chronic urinary tract infections. I felt depressed due to the symptoms. Because the burning was intense, I would limit going out especially during the summer or when the weather was hot, which aggravated symptoms. I was not able to go out or eat certain foods because I would get the infection. If I did not drink water I would get it too.
Before I came to this country, I did not receive treatment or take anything for the infections. But when I came to the U.S., I went to the medical doctors and was prescribed medications. The drugs would take care of it for a little while but then the infection would come back. The medications were only a bandage, because it helps a little but the infections always came back.
On March 16, 2005, I came to the Natural Medicine Center. I walked by and saw that the clinic helped a lot of people. I hoped to get well and my husband was supportive.
