I wanted to do natural medicine. I was referred to Natural Medicine Center in Costa Mesa by a client at my job. In 2004, I begin to have numbness and pain in my joints, which affected every part of my life. It was hard for me to take care of my baby and do all the things a mother needed to do; change his diaper, bathe him, and even to carry him was painful. In 2005, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis - an autoimmune condition. I was sad and could not believe it – I was scared. I went to the MD and was prescribed Naproxin and Methotrexate (MTX). The side effects were cough and my blood count was abnormal. It helped for a time and I stopped the medications in 2006. In 2011 my condition started again and this time the drugs did not help.
