Years ago, I had some complications after giving birth to my daughter that led to health issues, and it really put a strain on my liver. I went to the doctor because I was having pain in my abdomen area. They ran tests to find that my liver ALT (Alanine Aminotransferase, which tests for liver damage) levels were close to 300, when they are suppose to be 25 or less. (If the liver is damaged, it will release more ALT into the blood and levels will rise.) The doctor had no answers or solutions for me.
I was referred to Dr. Huang by a friend and went to him out of desperation. From the moment I walked into the office and met Dr. Huang, I could tell that he genuinely cared for my well being. For 3 months, I was faithful and consistent in taking the herbs and acupuncture that he recommended. After the 3 months, I had my ALT levels checked again to find that the levels were normal!! In November 2011, my blood pressure was high and that’s when it wasdiscovered that I had Hepatitis C. I was depressed when I learned of the diagnosis. Dr. Huang and his staff at Agape Acupuncture are have been such a blessing in our lives. My daughter at 8 years old was diagnosed with a cancer called Ewing Sarcoma, by the Grace of God after 14 aggressive chemo treatments there was no trace of it left. Since 1995, I have had problems with my liver and gallbladder. I had gallbladder stones, and I was told by the surgeon that my gallbladder needed to be removed.
