Dr. Huang also added some herbs to help me with my ever slowing metabolism rate which had caused me to never quite get past a certain point when dieting and exercising. Even though I have eaten fairly well and exercised fairly well, I was always a little overweight. With the herbs being taken after each meal I’ve been able to maintain a weight that is over 25 pounds less than when I got married in 2009. I have pictures that show me from when I was at least 42 pounds heavier than I am today. To now be stabilized at this current weight allows me to feel much better physically.
What a big difference it has been since coming into the Natural Medicine Center. I have recommended it to a few folks and will continue to do so. What has been a wonderful aspect of this treatment is Dr. Huang’s willingness to give all the glory to God for the source of the healing that goes on at the Natural Medicine Center. I have lived with back pain since I was in the eighth grade. Since that time I have had to go get various types of treatment such as medicinal doctors, chiropractic treatment, etc. A couple of years ago I tried acupuncture and it seemed to work better than previous treatments and I found that I may be on the right track.
Last year (2012) I happened to go through another bout of back pain which caused a lot of pain and discomfort. At the church I go to I got into a conversation with a fellow church member and friend and according to she and her daughter, the daughter was just finishing up treatment at the office of a wonderful Christian doctor named Kevin Huang, who through the use of acupuncture and natural herbs had treated the daughter for issues with her thyroid. This treatment enabled her to get off of all of her medicines and once done left no indication of thyroid problems at all. I was pretty impressed and sold once I read the actual testimony of the daughter.

I have had days in which my back is sore but that has always been due to having done something less than smart, such as moving something on my own without asking for help (I’m a man, that’s what we do!). The great news is that the treatment has allowed me to recover from my less than stellar decision making very quickly (within a day or two versus weeks or even over a month in the past).

I have no pain, I have more energy, and I am able to sit. I take no pain pills now. I can fix my own food, sit in a chair, cross my legs, walk straight, and go up and down stairs. I am able to clean my house and able to take the trash out. I got my life back.
The clinic is very nice and comfy and the staff is marvelous and kind – you have angels working here. I am very happy with the results and I would refer others to the Natural Medicine Center. It has been a wonderful experience. Thank God I found Kevin!

I suffered from severe back pain due to a herniated disc from a back injury on August 2, 2002. I thought that I would be in pain for the rest of my life and be on pain killers forever. I was not able to work since the injury and I was not able to go out. I could not lift anything, clean my house, or fix my meals. I could not sit for a very long time and I was in bed most of the time because of the pain. Socially it affected me a lot since the injury and I was very lonely.
I went to the orthopedic doctor who wanted to shoot my back with steroids and I didn’t want that. The doctor put me on pain killers and Effexor, which made me sleep and I was not able to make any logical decisions or thoughts. I also had chiropractic work done, which gave me some relief but didn’t get rid of the pain. And because I have arthritis, it made the pain worse. The results were not good.
On August 30, 2004, I came to the Natural Medicine Center. I looked it up in the yellow pages and the clinic was close to home. I wanted to be pain free and able to sit for a long period of time without pain. I did not tell anyone I was coming here except my grandsons and one is a medical student and he was very supportive. They both thought it was a wonderful idea.

When I came to Natural Medicine, I was very depressed from allergies, hemorrhoid and back problems. I had to take medication for about 2 years. Through acupuncture, herbal medicine, diet and exercise my health slowly became much better. I am happy to be off depression medication now. (NOTE: 6 months ago, the medical doctor took patient completely off of drug medications for depression due to his recovery through acupuncture and herbs.) I am currently on a very low dose of Lorataline for my allergies to grass and dust. I also see a Chiropractor for my back problem. I was able to get off muscle relaxers which would make me very tired.
