BALANCED FOOD MEDICINE FOR NATURAL HEALTH
Learn more about how to use and benefit from balanced individual foods
WE ARE 4TH GENERATION IN NATURAL MEDICINE
Food is a Major Determinant of Health
Food is a major determinant of health that is directly under our control. We cannot always control pollution, hereditary factors, noise, environment, and the social and emotional behaviors of others, but we can certainly choose what and what not to eat. Food is essential to human existence and because it is utilized many times each day, it has a major affect on the body.
When used properly, food can strengthen the body, maintain good health, and prevent certain diseases. When used improperly, food can harm the body, hinder normal bodily functions, weaken the immune system, and leave the body vulnerable to attack from diseases. Food plays an important role in health, healing and natural wellness. It also has other values, such as chemical, physical, biological, cultural, religious, social, economic and personal. When all aspects of food are taken into consideration, it is known as food medicine.
However, most people do not realize the power of foods. The body is often being abused with wrong and junk foods, instead of healing and strengthening the body with good and proper foods. Therefore, the administration of foods to heal the body requires the mastery of natural medicine and food medicine coupled with the knowledge of physics, biology and chemistry of each individual food. We hope that you will observe the principles of food medicine and incorporate this natural and powerful component into daily living, because anything we do three times a day will have an effect on the body! As the famous Hippocrates said, “Let food be our medicine, and medicine our food.”

Food Medicine, the Chemical, Physical and Biological Values of Food
The Chemical Values of Food
The chemical values of food represent the “science of nutrition”, and these vital nutrients are water, protein, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, vitamins, phytochemicals, phytohormones, enzymes, co-enzymes, fiber and trace elements. It is certainly important to observe chemical intake of nutrients and make sure it is properly balanced within the body to maintain normal chemical homeostasis, or balance. The “science of nutrition” is mainly concerned with the chemical aspects of food and the ingestion, digestion, absorption and assimilation of key nutrients. These chemical ingredients are essential to the body’s growth, reproduction, maintenance of normal function, and repair of all cells. Unquestionably, the body’s chemical constitution needs nutrition for survival.
These chemical values are keys to drive all functions within the body. Nutrition is very important to meet the daily chemical needs of the body for survival, however, nutrition is merely a subcategory of food. Please remember that food is not nutrition and nutrition is not food. Therefore, when one looks at the “nutritional facts” label on the foods being bought, this does not represent the entire classification of food, but only the chemical ingredients needed (or not needed) by the body.
WE HAVE TREATED OVER 45,000 PATIENTS
The Physical Values of Food
The physical values of food are taste, color, smell, internal temperature, motion, energy, impulse, momentum, elasticity, fluid mechanics, waves, vibrating bodies, thermodynamics, acoustic phenomena, electrostatics, electric currents, electrodynamics, optics, high energy physics, and relationship with internal organs and organ systems. When physical values are carefully studied, it is clear that there are many important aspects of food that have been completely disregarded, such as taste, color of food, aroma, effects to the different internal organ systems, the internal temperature and the seasonal meaning of individual foods.
WE SHOW LOVE TO OUR PATIENTS AND LOVE OUR PATIENT FAMILY
The Biological Values of Food
The biological values of food are sex, age, life span, nature, development, shape, size, how it grew, when it grew, category (kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species), fresh or preserved, and environmental characteristics (sunny, shady, mountain, desert, lake, sea, ocean, dry, or wet that attributed to the growth and development or withering and death). Biology is very important when describing the individual foods, because it represents the nature of the growth and development of the food being consumed.
After an individualized evaluation consisting of an intra- and extracellular diagnosis, biothermomic diagnosis, biological diagnosis, organ deficiency and sufficiency diagnosis, the foods and nutritional supplements are then personalized for the body’s current needs. These foods are prescribed based on their biological, physical and chemical nature to delicately maintain homeostasis. And as the body changes, it is important to monitor these patterns and adjust the foods according to the body’s changing needs, otherwise, the body will lack proper maintenance and care.
Balanced Food Medicine
ALL OF OUR TREATMENTS ARE TAILORED AND PERSONALIZED
The inspiration for BALANCED FOOD MEDICINE came from our patients, who, after reading SEASONAL FOOD MEDICINE and attending our weekly seminars, wanted to learn more about balanced individual foods and how to use them to benefit and heal the body. Our patients presented us with many questions, some pertaining to their own medical conditions and some pertaining to the condition of a friend or loved one. PROPER EXERCISE AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
At Agape Natural Health, we recommend proper aerobic exercise, mix of physical activity, and walking for good health and to benefit the lung and large intestine systems.

Exercise
Physical activity is generally safe for everyone and we encourage proper exercise and movement for good health. Exercise is essential for the body and beneficial for the cardiovascular system, and during the autumn season, we recommend proper aerobic exercise, mix of physical activity, and walking for good health and to benefit the lung and large intestine systems. Exercise and physical movement should be utilized regularly, especially in a country where a sedentary lifestyle and obesity is on the rise. Sedentary behavior “Couch potato” numbers are rising and after a ten-year study, the Centers for Disease Control reported that only 8% of adults ages 18-65 do any regular exercise, i.e., 20 minutes or more of vigorous exercise three times or more per week. Exercise falls under two main categories, aerobic and anaerobic, but for health reasons, the exercise of choice would be mainly aerobic.
To help patients get well without adverse side effects and to assist in their recovery from chronic debilitating ailments is truly a blessing. As primary health care providers, we at Agape Natural Health believe that those who work in the medical profession have to take on an active part in the patients’ total health and wellness. Therefore, the healing of diseases requires the complete approach of proper treatment, food guidelines, exercise guidelines, lifestyle choices, medicinal supplements, and dietary supplements. If you choose to begin a new exercise regimen, please consult your physician and healthcare professional first before starting. If you have a specific physical need or are debilitated in any way, if you are pregnant, nursing, or have individual health concerns, please discuss exercise and physical activity with your healthcare professional before beginning. Each patient is different, and our functions and requirements are different and unique, so we need to first always consider safety and to reduce risks.

Physical Activity
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services encourages that all Americans should engage in regular physical activity to improve overall health and fitness and to prevent negative health outcomes. The benefits of physical activity occur in generally healthy people of all ages, in people at risk of developing chronic diseases, and in people with chronic conditions or disabilities. Physical activity affects many health conditions, and the specific amounts and types of activity that benefit each condition vary. In developing public health guidelines, the challenge is to integrate scientific information across all health benefits and identify a critical range of physical activity that appears to have an effect across the health benefits. One consistent finding from research studies is that once the health benefits from physical activity begin to accumulate, additional amounts of activity provide additional benefits.
Some health benefits occur immediately after an episode of physical activity. Other benefits begin with as little as 60 minutes a week. Research shows that a total amount of at least 150 minutes a week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity, such as brisk walking, consistently reduces the risk of many chronic diseases and other adverse health outcomes. It defines physical activity as it refers to any bodily movement produced by the contraction of skeletal muscle that increases energy expenditure above a basal level. In the Guidelines, physical activity generally refers to the subset of physical activity that enhances health. Exercise is a form of physical activity that is planned, structured, repetitive, and performed with the goal of improving health or fitness. Although all exercise is physical activity, not all physical activity is exercise.
WE ARE 4TH GENERATION IN NATURAL MEDICINE
Anaerobic Exercise
Anaerobic exercise involves short bursts of exertion followed by periods of rest. Bodies develop stronger muscles as the result of anaerobic exercise. Anaerobic exercise does not burn fat, because it is generally performed at an intensity that is too great to allow enough oxygen into the body to burn fat for energy. However, its muscle-building results can complement aerobic exercise and we highly recommend a mix of physical activity to stay healthy. Examples of anaerobic activities include push-ups, stomach crunches, pull-ups, weight lifting, calisthenics, golf, sprinting, etc.
During anaerobic exercise, creatine phosphate, which exists in the muscles is a compound essential for generating energy. High creatine levels enhance recovery during repeated bursts of exercise. For this reason, people who do anaerobic exercise gain on the average of one to four pounds. The weight may be extra water held in the muscles, an increase in muscle mass, or both. "Weight gain varies from person to person," reports BJ Baker, strength trainer for the Boston Red Sox. Athletes with low creatine levels (vegetarians or low meat eaters) often show the biggest response

Aerobic Exercise
Aerobic exercise means exercise "with air", and emphasizes oxygen in the air. Muscles need oxygen to function. Aerobic encompasses any activity that continually supplies enough oxygen to the exercising muscles for the duration of the activity. The kind of exercise that reduces fat is called aerobic exercise. During aerobic exercise, the heart beats faster and breathing is heavier. The increased oxygen level combines with stored fat and literally burns the fat away. Regular aerobic exercise (20 minutes of exercise three or more times a week) also raises the body's metabolism; the body burns more calories all the time - even at rest! Examples of aerobic activities include breathing exercise, walking (fast), running/jogging, basketball, bicycling, hockey, ice skating, karate, rollerblading, rowing, soccer, swimming, tennis, cross-country skiing, dancing, jumping, and skating.
WE HAVE THE MEDICAL EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU
Aerobic exercise can benefit the body in many different ways, such as:
Improve Quality of Life - A properly designed exercise program will give the body more energy. Aerobic exercisers add life to their years, as well as years to their lives.
Helps Reduce Risks of Heart Disease - People who do not exercise aerobically have twice the risk of developing heart disease than individuals who do aerobic exercise on a regular basis.
Helps to Relieve Depression - Mild to moderately depressed individuals who engage in aerobic exercise 15 to 30 minutes a day, at least every other day, typically experience a more positive mood in two to three weeks.
Slow Down the Aging Process - By counterbalancing the age-related decrease in work capacity and physical performance, aerobic exercise can help you maintain and sustain the ability to perform work and to be independent.
Prevent Certain Types of Cancer - People who exercise are less likely to get colon cancer. Also, women who do not exercise have more than two and one-half times the risk of developing cancer of the reproductive system and almost twice the chance of getting breast cancer.
Increase Good (HDL) Cholesterol - Exercise is one of the few voluntary activities that are effective in raising HDL levels - the type of cholesterol that lowers the risk of heart disease.
Enhance Self-Image - Individuals who exercise regularly generally feel better about themselves than sedentary individuals.
Improve Quality of Sleep – People who exercise go to sleep more quickly, sleep more soundly and are more refreshed than individuals who do not exercise.
Relieve Stress and Anxiety - Exercise dissipates certain hormones and other chemicals that build up during periods of high stress. Exercise also generates a period of substantial emotional and physical relaxation that sets in approximately an hour and a half after an intense workout.
Improve Mental Sharpness - Individuals who exercise regularly have better memories, better reaction times and a better level of concentration than non-exercisers.
It is important to give correct exercise guidelines to patients, depending upon gender, age, physical capacity, and physical needs. These factors must be taken into consideration so that each patient can get personalized exercise routines based on individual requirements. Exercise is certainly a major determinant of health and when used properly, it benefits circulation, speeds up metabolism, enhances oxygen supply to internal tissue and organs, and strengthens immunity.
Key Guidelines For Safe Physical Activity
From the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Regular physical activity is one of the most important things people can do to improve their health. Moving more and sitting less have tremendous benefits for everyone, regardless of age, sex, race, ethnicity, or current fitness level. Individuals with a chronic disease or a disability benefit from regular physical activity, as do women who are pregnant. The scientific evidence continues to build—physical activity is linked with even more positive health outcomes than we previously thought. And, even better, benefits can start accumulating with small amounts of, and immediately after doing, physical activity.
To do physical activity safely and reduce risk of injuries and other adverse events, people should:
Understand the risks, yet be confident that physical activity can be safe for almost everyone.
Choose types of physical activity that are appropriate for their current fitness level and health
goals, because some activities are safer than others.
Increase physical activity gradually over time to meet key guidelines or health goals. Inactive people should “start low and go slow” by starting with lower intensity activities and gradually increasing how often and how long activities are done.
Protect themselves by using appropriate gear and sports equipment, choosing safe environments, following rules and policies, and making sensible choices about when, where, and how to be active.
Be under the care of a health care provider if they have chronic conditions or symptoms. People with chronic conditions and symptoms can consult a health care professional or physical activity specialist about the types and amounts of activity appropriate for them

STAGE 4 CANCER | HEAD, NECK, THROAT | LUNG CANCER | ACUPUNCTURE AND HERBS
ALL OF OUR TREATMENTS ARE TAILORED AND PERSONALIZED
“I was Stage 4 head, neck, throat cancer that spread to my lungs, my survival was low and I am now free of cancer according to my last PET scan. The fact that they can’t see it on a scan is pretty amazing to me!”
I was diagnosed on August 5, 2013 with Stage 4 Head, Neck and Throat Cancer. I was scared and worried. My condition basically kept me locked down at home on my couch and it was lonely. It kept me fatigued all the time with a dry mouth and limited me from doing cardio. It limited me from going out in the sun and kept me from the beach and riding my bike. I suffered with this condition for 1 year.
I had radiation to the throat area, chemotherapy for 5 weeks - 1 every week during 24 radiation treatments to the throat. The second round was 1 every 3 weeks for 6 months. I had a throat tube put in because I couldn’t breath when I went into the ER, and I was there for a month. The tracheostomy tube did not come out for 4 months because the tumor was wrapped around my esophagus. When they took the tube out and did another scan, they found that the cancer had spread to my lungs. They did a needle biopsy and found out that it was the same from my throat and that it had spread. It was a cancerous lung nodule 8mm that spread from my throat.
I had 6 rounds of chemotherapy for the lungs. I was also on medications for pain (morphine and hydrocodone) and Xanax for anxiety. I didn’t like any of it because the whole process of treatments made me miserable, and I had a lot of anxiety with the chemotherapy treatments.
I was always a believer in natural remedies and I read a lot about it first. I came to Agape Acupuncture on February 6, 2014 and found Dr. Huang to be knowledgeable and that they were really concerned about me and very supportive. I found the clinic to be fantastic with excellent customer service and a clean facility - sweet people over here, honest and reliable. I hoped to find healing of my cancer all the way naturally instead of with drugs. I started acupuncture treatments along with natural herbs and diet guidance.
After I started coming to Agape Acupuncture, I have been getting better everyday and it is promoting to heal the body naturally. Socially I can get out a little more and exercise more. I don’t have to hide my appearance from the sun because the chemotherapy beats you up and it shows on your face. I have more energy and over all feel better. Ever since I’ve even coming here, the last 2 scans, CT scan and PET scan were the best I had and were clear and free of cancer. The staff is very helpful, kind, understanding and educated. I found the medical staff to be very respectful, very kind and knowledgeable. I feel fantastic about the results and clear and no cancer on my last scans. My family and loved ones are ecstatic at my results.
I will definitely refer others to Dr. Kevin Huang because I find natural medicine to be fantastic. I would say they helped me and brought me through a lot of turmoil. I would make a point to tell others I was Stage 4 head, neck, throat cancer that spread to my lungs, my survival was low and I am now free of cancer according to my last PET scan. The fact that they can’t see it on a scan is pretty amazing to me! I would recommend natural medicine to anybody, whether they have cancer or not. It restores your body naturally from toxins and Dr. Huang has excellent credentials.
Sincerely,
L.K.

Major Determinants of Health
Natural health and wellness are determined by many factors such as food, nutrition, environment, emotions, exercise, sleep, lifestyle, healthcare, and medical treatment. It is not enough to only give attention to one aspect and ignore the rest. All of these important components must work together simultaneously and be synchronized to completely benefit the body.
It is the responsibility of doctors, nurses, medical technicians, nutritionists, pharmacists and all those who work in the medical field to provide patients with correct information regarding the major determinants of health. It is not right to only render treatments and give medications to the sick, without providing for the total wellness of the patient and incorporate preventative measures to reduce the risks of the patient becoming sick.
It is more important to “teach a person how to fish than to just give them a fish to eat when they are hungry”. When someone is hungry and they are given a fish to eat, they have to rely on the giver for survival. However, if that same person is taught how to fish, they will never be hungry again. That person can rely on himself or herself for survival. The same is true for healthcare. Knowing the key steps in maintaining wellness, the patient can take charge of his or her own body.
It is true that the patient can be the best doctor because it is nearly impossible for a healthcare professional to spend every meal, every day and every night with the patient. But when the patient is educated on health and preventative measures, every day can be a healing experience with the proper food, sleep, exercise, work, study and lifestyle.
Food is a Major Determinant of Health
Food is certainly an essential aspect of health and wellness. It is a medical treasure that humans have used for thousands of years for survival. It can be an art of healing that everybody uses at least three times a day, 21 times a week, and 1095 times a year. However, most people do not realize the power of foods. The body is often being abused with wrong and junk foods, instead of healing and strengthening the body with good and proper foods. The only way to fully understand whether a food is good or bad for the body is through proper education.
If wrong foods are not controlled, diseases cannot be treated effectively. For example, a diabetic patient came to our clinic with a blood sugar level of 285. She had congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, and severe edema in her ankles, knees, hips, belly button and lower ribs. She was also overweight. She was on 40 units of insulin each day and medication for her heart and the high blood pressure. She came to us saying, “I am dying, I am dying”. Upon completion of her diagnostic examination and reviewing her personal and medical history, we found out that she was drinking three glasses of orange juice and lots of sodas every day, using butter, and heavily eating meats for protein. We immediately told her to eliminate these foods from her diet. Her response was, “I’ll follow, but no one had ever told me not to eat these foods”.
Doctors need to help patients with food and diet, so that the patients do not suffer the consequences. As long as the patient understands what to eat and what not to eat, this knowledge can be applied many times each day to help strengthen the body, boost the immune system, allow normal functioning of internal organs, and provide proper balance within the body. Our desire is to equip patients to know how to care for their bodies from the inside out.

WHAT IS CROHN’S DISEASE?
Crohn’s disease is a chronic and irremediable disease that is associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It is an autoimmune disease that causes enduring inflammation and irritation to the lining of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Crohn’s inflammation commonly occurs at the end of the ileum (small intestine) and at the cecum (the beginning of large intestine) where they connect. However, Crohn’s disease conditions vary by person and inflammation can affect an individual in one section or segments throughout the GI tract (from the oral cavity to anus). Inflammation caused by Crohn’s disease can spread deep into the layers of the bowel tissue resulting in thickening of the bowel wall that does not subside. Subsequently, inflammation from Crohn’s disease can develop into colorectal cancer.
ALL OF OUR TREATMENTS ARE TAILORED AND PERSONALIZED
CROHN’S DISEASE SYMPTOMS
The cause of Crohn’s disease is not known. Crohn’s disease is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system is unable to differentiate between their cells from foreign pathogens. The body’s natural defense system would mistakenly believe these harmless bacteria in their intestinal tract are foreign pathogens. By protecting its own body from pathogens (virus, bacteria, fungi, or other microorganisms), the immune system produces a response and attacks the harmless bacteria that aid in digestion. Subsequently, inflammation and irritation in the GI tract causes individuals to experience intestinal obstructions, rectal bleeding, fatigue, loss of appetite, mouth ulcer, slow growth and many other disturbances within the GI system. Crohn’s disease can also cause inflammation on the skin, eyes, joints, and in the liver or bile ducts.
WE HAVE THE MEDICAL EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU
ACUPUNCTURE TO BENEFIT CROHN’S DISEASE
Acupuncture and herbal medicine induce a homeostatic response on the cellular level by influencing the body’s internal organs to correct imbalances in their digestion, absorption, and energy production activities. They stimulate the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These chemicals will change the experience of pain, or they will trigger the release of other chemicals and hormones which influence the body’s own internal regulating system. Acupuncture helps Crohn’s disease by reversing tissue damage and reduces inflammation and improves quality of life. Acupuncture is safe and painless. There are no drugs or hazardous equipment used and no surgical operation performed.

“Once natural medicine began, he started to improve day by day and within weeks he had gained back all the weight he had lost (30-35 lbs)! By December 2009 he was off all medicine drugs and has been symptom free (healed from Crohn’s Disease) since 2009!... He’s back to normal and has been for 4 years now!”
CROHN’S DISEASE RISK FACTORS ARE
Crohn’s disease is believed to be hereditary. That being the case, a significant chance an individual will have Crohn’s disease is if someone in their family or a close relative has Crohn’s disease. An individual has a higher risk of developing Crohn’s disease when both mother and father have IBD. Crohn’s disease affects both men and women between the ages of 15 and 35. Caucasian and Eastern Europe Jewish lineage have a higher risk of developing Crohn’s disease than African American, American Indian, Asians, or Hispanics. Active smokers are twofold likely to develop Crohn’s disease than non-smokers.
WE HAVE THE MEDICAL EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU
TREATMENT OF CROHN’S DISEASE
There is no cure for Crohn’s disease. Crohn’s disease can be treated with specific medication based on the severity and location of the condition. Medication such as steroids and immunosuppressants, aminosalicylates, corticosteroids, and immunomodulators can be prescribed to help control, sustain flair-ups and reduce inflammation. However, each medication has various side effects such as headaches, heartburn, acne, bone loss, high blood pressure, low white blood cell count and other side effects that can potentially lead to higher chance of developing infections and pancreatitis. Additionally, some medication can take several weeks or months before becoming active and require regular screening due to high risk of colorectal cancer. Since Crohn’s condition occasionally goes into remission, it is unknown if a specific prescription drug is effective towards Crohn’s disease. Surgery may be required if all medication drugs have been exhausted and ineffective towards the individual. Depending on the location of the condition, the operation consists of removing that specific part of inflammation from the intestines. However, each part of the internal organs plays a vital role in maintaining homeostasis within our body. By removing an essential part of the organ, Crohn’s disease can reappear but in other areas of the intestines that can lead to diarrhea or malnutrition.

CASE STUDIES
According to Healthcare Medicine Institute, modern research has proven that acupuncture has improved Crohn’s Disease Activity Index (CDAI) scores and quality of life, increased hemoglobin levels, and reduced C-reactive protein (CRP) levels for patients with Crohn’s disease. CDAI score measures during medicine and medical procedure for responses and remission of Crohn’s disease. CRP measures inflammation levels in the blood. Researchers have shown that acupuncture induces a powerful anti-inflammatory response that improves patient’s intestinal mucosal epithelium and intestinal glands in Crohn’s disease patients. Testimonials on Agape Natural Health have shown patients with Crohn’s disease have substantially improved with acupuncture. By receiving acupuncture and consuming herbal medicine regularly, it has proven to cause Crohn’s disease to stay in remission and promote health and quality of life.

HEALTH TIPS | A BALANCED DAY | THE PRINCIPLE OF 8-8-8 FOR HEALTH AND WELLNESS
A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE | DAILY BALANCE OF TIME | AGAPE NATURAL HEALTH
We hope that daily structure of time will be evaluated to see if better balance could be achieved and restored in our daily routine with the principle of 8-8-8. The manner in which we choose to live life and the patterns that are developed are very important in the outcome of health and wellness. Many things we do in our lives require structure and balance in order to create the best environment to nurture health and wellness.. Much of what we do occur in the lifestyle that we set as a pace for how we run our lives, our household, and modeling that for family and children. These are traditions we will pass on from generation to generation and are memorable. It is important to observe and learn about lifestyle and habits. Changing certain aspects of lifestyle may mean the difference between staying healthy and aggravating diseases. For a balanced day, we recommend establishing the guidance of 8-8-8 rule. This purposefully sets aside 8 hours for sleep, 8 hours for work, and 8 hours for recreation.

The Principle of 8-8-8 | A Healthy Lifestyle
Many things we do in our lives require structure and balance in order to create the best environment to nurture health and wellness.
8 HOURS FOR SLEEP
The 8 hours set aside for sleep is designated for our body to recharge, rest and reset. Much of natural healing and repair of internal organs takes place during these important hours and sleep promotes proper immune function and general body health and wellness.
8 HOURS FOR WORK
The 8 hours set aside for work at a job also includes school for students, and training hours and work-outs for professional athletes. The activities that are included in these hours engage, labor and challenge our mind and/or body and require focus, dedication and concentration.
8 HOURS FOR RECREATION
The 8 hours set aside for recreation and enjoyment include periods of relaxation, breaks, stretching, time for grocery shopping and preparing meals, meal time, family time, physical activities, exercise, church activities, and other social events. These hours are for enjoying life and participating in the lives of our loved ones. These hours are usually spaced out throughout the day from the moment that we wake up until bedtime.
We hope that daily structure of time will be evaluated to see if better balance could be achieved and restored in our daily routine with the principle of 8-8-8. The manner in which we choose to live life and the patterns that are developed are very important in the outcome of health and wellness.
