When I first came to Natural Medicine Center – I was very anxious. My 14 year old daughter was not well and this has been off and on for a year. It got to a point where it just got worse. I had been searching and working with another form of natural medicine that wasn’t effectively working. The treatments were expensive and not easy to work with as she is 14 years old. We also had many blood tests. My daughter was suffering from severe headaches and exhaustion and she was unable to go to school. Her emotions weren’t as they should be.
I had seen Dr. Huang’s website 3 months prior and was very curious. It got to the point (for me) of great concern (to tears and prayer for guidance and direction and endurance) in whatever we would have to face. When I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), I was sad and knew it would be a difficult obstacle getting pregnant. My periods were irregular and I had weight gain. It was hard for me to loose weight due to the PCOS and a slower metabolism. My MD prescribed Clomid and Metformin. There were a lot of side effects and the Metformin gave me an upset stomach and nausea. I was also stressed and tired. Because I was not able to conceive easily, I also had an IUI (Intrauterine Insemination). Neither of these treatments were successful prior to coming here.
Two of mine friends came to the Agape Natural Health and they had positive results so they recommended me. I was not a firm believer in natural medicine but I was always interested in it and my friends encouraged me. I wanted to conceive and have a healthy natural pregnancy and a healthy body. They try to make you feel at home and comfortable. Dr. Huang gives you a lot of hope. He talks about God – helping you heal and he tells you to be patient. Well, I’m back again to try to re-strengthen my body in hopes of adding a new child to our future! If someone is skeptical or unsure I would say they should at least try it and tell them that the experience is not painful - It’s actually relaxing.
