I was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder last September 2013 and was right away advised to go through chemo treatments. Because of fear and desperation I accepted the protocol of conventional medicine. I was put on weekly strong steroids and weekly subcutaneous shots of chemotherapy. The side effects were so hard on my body and my emotions. I had shingles as a side effect of the chemo, consistent stye on both eyes, low energy, constant fatigue and worst of all was the roller coaster mood swings that made me feel needy, afraid and alone in my health crisis.
A good friend recommended seeing Dr. Huang at Agape Acupuncture, Inc. After Christmas I started acupuncture and herbal medicine.
