A little over 3 months ago I began to have terrible excruciating pain caused by Shingles. It was a constant pain and numbness. I kept doing what I would normally do, even during the pain. I was prescribed drug medicine by my medical doctor and it didn’t do anything for me. First off all, I don’t like taking pills, especially when it doesn’t accomplish anything. The medical doctor didn’t achieve anything – zero. I continued taking the drug medications until I started treatment at Agape Acupuncture on April 27, 2013.

Since March 16, 2006, I suffered from shingles. The pain was horrible and I had blisters on my arm. I could not work and I was frustrated and scared. I went to the doctor and had two nerve block injections to control the pain. I was also prescribed Valtrex and Neurontin. There were no results from the drugs and treatments.
On May 8, 2006 I came to the Natural Medicine Center. I was at the last end and not getting any results before coming here. I was not a believer in natural medicine but was willing to try, because this was my last resort. I hoped to get rid of the pain and to the function back in my arm. I began getting acupuncture treatments and taking herbs.
