WHAT IS ANXIETY DISORDER?
Anxiety disorder is when a person has an intense and persistent feeling of worry and fear about their day-to-day circumstances. They will have repeated occurrences of an unexpected feeling of intense anxiety that lead to panic attacks. Their perception of danger is more serious than it is in actuality, causing them to avoid places or situations that would trigger their anxiety. Anxiety disorder is challenging to control and can get worse over time.
ANXIETY DISORDER SYMPTOMS
Symptoms of an anxiety disorder include feeling restless, irritable, quickly fatigue, and panic or doom. They have difficulty concentrating and controlling their feelings of worry, trouble sleeping, muscle tension, sense of impending danger, increased heart rate, hyperventilating, and sweating.

MODERN MEDICINE TREATMENT OF ANXIETY DISORDER | DRUG MEDICINE
Treatment for an anxiety disorder is either medication, psychotherapy, or both. Depending on the type of anxiety disorder an individual has, certain anti-anxiety, antidepressants, or sedatives are prescribed. Some medications can have an immediate effect, while others may take several weeks before becoming effective. Over time, an individual can build tolerance and become dependent on the medication. When the drug is stopped suddenly, an individual will go through withdrawal.

When I first came to Natural Medicine Center – I was very anxious. My 14 year old daughter was not well and this has been off and on for a year. It got to a point where it just got worse. I had been searching and working with another form of natural medicine that wasn’t effectively working. The treatments were expensive and not easy to work with as she is 14 years old. For the past year, since May 2006, I have suffered from vaginal problems and frequent urination. I was very surprised when I found out. My body was weak, and I was tired and had no energy. I had crying spells and anxiety. I could not go out due to the frequent urination and I had no social life.
The doctors gave me penicillin, cortisone cream and vaginal creams. The penicillin gave me side effects such as headaches, vomiting, stomach upset and palpitations. Everything was the same and there were no results. I was taking only drugs, and I felt bad.

Since May, 2007, I suffered from emotional problems - anxiety and depression. I was depressed most of the time and I had a lot of anxiety. I was not sleeping well and suffered from insomnia. I had dizziness, low energy, headaches and nausea. I also had digestive problems, with poor appetite and I could not eat. The more I thought about my condition, the more upset I would get. I was not able to go to work and all I did was just lay in bed.
