I just wanted to start off by saying that I'm pretty careful about who I recommend and want to see results before I start recommending people to anyone. I was pretty skeptical about acupuncture in the beginning and wondered if it was actually effective for someone's health. I would often be skeptical about everything Dr. Huang said and wondered why he was so confident in whatever information he gave me about my health. However, everything that Dr. Huang said about my health came to pass, he kept his word, and didn't make any empty promises.
I first started coming to Dr. Huang in October of 2017. I had been suffering with desquamative inflammatory vaginitis or chronic vaginitis in general for 4 1/2 years. My name is Mishell and my husband and I have had fertility issues for many years. I have Endometriosis alongside some ovulation issues. I have had an Endometrioma in the past which ultimately led to having an ectopic pregnancy. This resulted in removal of my left fallopian tube.
We later resorted to IVF in hopes of getting pregnant once and for all. The first two attempts were fresh cycles but resulted in negative pregnancy tests. I am 39 years old. At age 36, and with a 7 year-old daughter, I wanted a second child. With 2 unsuccessful rounds of IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization), I came to the Natural Medicine Center to receive acupuncture. We were trying to conceive for 3 years. My first conception I had a miscarriage 6 weeks later. One month later I conceived again and miscarried. All testing was normal but we still were not able to have a child. There were no reasons for my infertility and everything looked normal. I was offered IVFs and hormone injections by an infertility doctor, which did not help. The IVF treatments started May 2009 - January 2010 and were unsuccessful. It was very painful physically and emotionally, and it was financially draining. I had frustration of not being able to get pregnant. I had stress at work and was emotionally down when a friend told me acupuncture would help me.
I searched the internet, found the Agape Acupuncture, Inc., and began treatments for infertility on June 11, 2010. I was given acupuncture and herbal medicine. The treatments were not painful and very little money. I was 38 years old at the time and I had no expectations and no prior views of natural medicine. I just wanted to get pregnant and have my second child. I didn’t share it with my husband because he did not believe in natural medicine.
