Coming into Agape Natural Health for acupuncture treatment, all I hope for was to relieve my son itchiness and for him to get sleep but in return, I gained more than I asked for from acupuncture. Before, my son would never smile. He was always grumpy, angry, inactive, and crying because of his eczema. After doing treatments every week with Dr. Huang, my son went through a transformation. Five months of acupuncture treatment, his severe eczema is now 96% better! I couldn’t believe it, I wasn’t expecting his eczema to go away. Thinking “is this real?” because the result was out of this world. My son is now happier than ever. He is now able to nap for three hours straight and stay asleep for more than 4-5 hours a night. My baby boy is back to normal, and he is always smiling!
Now, my friends and family is 100% believer in natural medicine. They were impressed with the result my son received from natural medicine. They noticed significant changes in him. At four months old, my son developed eczema on his cheeks. When he was old enough to crawl, it spread all over his neck, arms, and legs. He was covered in big, red spots that inflamed throughout his body. His skin was dry, flaky, and scaly that looked and felt like an alligator. There was not a spot on his arms, hands, and leg that wasn't eczema. Everything I did for my son did not help. He was miserable. His eczema kept him up all day and all night, causing him to be restless. I was restless, too.
When his pediatrician told me that it was just a baby rash, which is common in infants, it will eventually go away. Since it didn't go away and it came back worse than before, that was when his pediatrician diagnosed my son with eczema. What came across my mind was “are you kidding me!” I couldn't believe such a thing could happen to my precious little boy. I wasn't aware of what eczema was or have I seen them before so seeing my son acquire such condition was unbelievable.
We used everything from over the counter antihistamine cream, and body oil to prescription steroid cream and nothing helped to relieve the pain he was experiencing. His primary pediatrician even increased his steroid cream dosage and recommended other over-the-counter creams, but it just made his eczema worse. I felt hopeless for my son. Even with intensive research on eczema, everything I did for him, including his doctor recommendation and home remedies for eczema did not work. It was just a temporary relief. There was nothing modern medicine could do to help my little boy. The inflammation was unbearable that it made him irritable, grumpy, and itchier that he couldn't stay asleep for more than 15-30 minutes at a time. All I wanted was my baby boy to be happy, but the eczema was controlling his life.
One day, my neighbor recommended that I visit Agape Natural Health in Orange County because they have a friend who had eczema and they are no longer suffering from bad scaly, itchy and dry skin by doing acupuncture. Our son Sawyer had a very healthy first year of life. After turning one year old he started having all sorts of recurrent colds and sinus trouble. This led into long bouts of coughing with labored breathing which was very very scary and exhausting for him. We tried all sorts of sinus medications, breathing treatments, and inhalers. While he would improve for a while, it was never more than a month before he started all over again with sickness.
While our pediatrician suggested that we keep him on allergy medicine and inhalers indefinitely, with the hope he would grow out of it, we knew that this was not God’s best for Sawyer. We took him to Dr. Huang in faith. The results of the exam were shocking. Sawyers immune system was as low as it could get and his lungs and other systems were not functioning well at all. We immediately started 12 weeks of acupuncture and supplements. While sitting, Sawyer would receive treatments in his back and watch his DVD player.
