Acupuncture has an amazing long history that has made it the worlds oldest contemporary medical system. "More people have been treated by acupuncture than by all other systems of medicine combined." My Name is Austin. I am 19 years old and I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2006 when I was 12 years old. Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is an Auto-Immune Disease that attacks the colon and causes severe diarrhea and bleeding.
My Mom and Dad took me to many specialist doctors and all of them said that there is no cure for UC and they all wanted get me on Drugs! One doctor even recommended to have my colon removed. Yes – at 12 years old.
