On February 9, 2013 I started treatments at Agape Acupuncture, Inc. for Shingles pain and nerve pain. I was in a lot of pain and I was scared. My skin was burning and I couldn’t move my left arm. It was difficult to wear a shirt. I couldn’t exercise or get out of bed. Any movements caused me pain. I was just taking drug medications prescribed by my M.D. (Neorontin 300-600 mg doses).
I came to Agape Acupuncture and started treatments on March 11, 2013 because my son referred me. Dr. Huang is experienced, the testimonials are positive, and everyone at the clinic is very helpful. For 16 years, I suffered from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and chronic muscle, joint and nerve pain. I also had severe migraines. 6 months ago, it was discovered that I had spinal problems and the doctor wanted to put a screw between my vertebrae and my nerves would be severed. I had muscle spasms and restricted movement, and I was always extra careful on everything that required movement. I could not exercise.
I was on a lot of drug medications and I tried a lot of medications prescribed by my primary physician, my neurologist, and the orthopedic doctor. I took drug medications like it was candy. I was on anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle-relaxers and pain killers. I had physical therapy, but my condition would worsen. I had a lower back surgical procedure that was a nerve block. There were no results from the treatments and medications.
On July 2, 2005, the Lord guided me to the Natural Medicine Center. Out of thousands of clinics, the Lord found this place and my daughter and I are here. My family was very supportive. The clinic is very friendly, homey and relaxing, and I loved the cleanliness of the office. I started getting acupuncture treatment and herbal medicine.

Since 1992, I suffered a lot from severe lower back pain, and in 1999, I began to get leg pain from a pinched nerve. I took a lot of pain medications and shots of cortisone. The drugs would relieve the pain for awhile, but the pain would come back. Since 1992, I started to go to the chiropractor, but the pain was still there and it did not work. The back pain was severe and I was not able to sleep or go up stairs. Before I was active, but because of the pain, I was not able to do much or work.
