“I never imagined that a routine injection of medication from another doctor would lead to such a challenging health issue at the age of 73. After receiving the shot, I experienced a negative side-effect: shingles. On February 9, 2013 I started treatments at Agape Acupuncture, Inc. for Shingles pain and nerve pain. I was in a lot of pain and I was scared. My skin was burning and I couldn’t move my left arm. It was difficult to wear a shirt. I couldn’t exercise or get out of bed. Any movements caused me pain. I was just taking drug medications prescribed by my M.D. (Neorontin 300-600 mg doses).
