“I wanted to share my story about how "Agape Natural Health" specifically Dr. Huang, saved my dream of becoming a mother!

2 years ago my husband and I dreamed to have a baby one day. Unfortunately, as time pass by nothing happened. We went to 2 different doctors, the first one did not work then we tried another fertility clinic. My doctor advised me to go through IUI process , during that they found a tumor in my left ovary. They took out my left ovary, because the tumor was cancerous. While I was recovering the Oncologist told me that my right ovary is so small that there is no chance of me having a baby. I was so devastated knowing that i have cancer and that I wouldn't be able to conceive!

One night my husband was scrolling through the net and searching for what other remedies we can do. What better day than today, Thanksgiving 2017, to thank Dr. Huang and his incredible staff for helping me get pregnant with my beautiful second daughter. 2015 was a tough year; not only did I have two miscarriages, but my reproductive endocrinologist told my husband and I that due to my high FSH levels and age, 43, I would never be able to conceive again. I left the doctor’s office feeling heartbroken, but something in me told me that this was not how this chapter in my life was to end. I still had hope and as they say, “when there is a will, there is a way”. That following week, I did some online research and found a story on a blog that I connected with. That story led me to Dr. Huang. I called his office immediately after reading this women’s success story. Dr. Huang’s staff was great in answering my initial questions and getting me the appointment I needed.  I met with Dr. Huang and immediately knew that I was in the right place. He has an amazing bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable during our initial consultation. I began treatment three times a week in March 2016. I followed a diet he recommend for me and also took some herbal pills.

I got pregnant in September 2016 and continued to see him during the duration of my pregnancy.  

Going to my doctor’s appointments were always filled with anxiety and fear, but after every test I had to take to see the health of the baby, the results always came back with good news.

"After several months of trying, I became pregnant in May of 2011. I had a blood test to confirm my pregnancy and my HCG levels were the highest they had ever been. I continued with acupuncture throughout my pregnancy. I’m now 36 weeks pregnant and I have had a very smooth, healthy pregnancy. We are expecting our baby boy in January of 2012. Dr. Huang has been very supportive and generous throughout this process. He has always had a positive attitude and a strong faith in my having a healthy pregnancy even when I was becoming discouraged. You can truly see the hand of God in the way he runs his practice."

When I first came for a consult with Dr. Huang, my husband and I had been praying and trying for a baby for two years. After a year of trying to conceive we consulted with a reproductive endocrinologist (RE) - who basically said I had a 1-2% chance of becoming pregnant naturally because I was 38 years old (at the time) and had not conceived up to that point. We had one IUI with the RE, which caused me to develop large cysts and postponed my regular menstrual cycle for several months. I began seeing a well known acupuncturist, who specialized in fertility at the same time as I began treatment with the RE. The IUI did not result in pregnancy; however, I did end up becoming pregnant naturally a few months later. I miscarried after 6 weeks. After that pregnancy, I had two more miscarriages within 6 months. I felt heartbroken and defeated but continued to have faith that God had a plan for us.

I began looking for other acupuncturists in the area because I did not feel the miscarriages were being addressed by the acupuncturist and treatment remained the same regardless of how many times I miscarried, I believe God lead me to the Natural Medicine website and as soon as I read that Dr. Huang was a Christian and read his beliefs, I made an appointment for a consult. My husband and I have always believed that we would have a child but did not know what path God wanted us to take. We also looked into adoption but were not ready to take that step. Dr. Huang had a different approach to treatment for my fertility issues. He treated my whole body rather than simply focusing on my reproductive system and had us wait 3 months before trying to conceive again so my body could heal.

I am 39 years old. At age 36, and with a 7 year-old daughter, I wanted a second child. With 2 unsuccessful rounds of IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization), I came to the Natural Medicine Center to receive acupuncture. We were trying to conceive for 3 years. My first conception I had a miscarriage 6 weeks later. One month later I conceived again and miscarried. All testing was normal but we still were not able to have a child. There were no reasons for my infertility and everything looked normal. I was offered IVFs and hormone injections by an infertility doctor, which did not help. The IVF treatments started May 2009 - January 2010 and were unsuccessful. It was very painful physically and emotionally, and it was financially draining. I had frustration of not being able to get pregnant. I had stress at work and was emotionally down when a friend told me acupuncture would help me.

I searched the internet, found the Agape Acupuncture, Inc., and began treatments for infertility on June 11, 2010. I was given acupuncture and herbal medicine. The treatments were not painful and very little money. I was 38 years old at the time and I had no expectations and no prior views of natural medicine. I just wanted to get pregnant and have my second child. I didn’t share it with my husband because he did not believe in natural medicine.

After a couple of months I was feeling better emotionally where I was very down previously. Miracle! I have a second child on the way and I’m at 28 weeks now! I’m very happy with the results. One of the deepest desires of my heart was to one day become a mother, it never really occurred to me that I would struggle to fulfill that desire. After trying to get pregnant for about a year, I went in to the doctor complaining of pelvic pain. A trans vaginal ultrasound was performed and that's when I saw them- clusters of cysts showed up on the screen and as the doctor was explaining to me that I had a condition called PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). I remember tears started welling up when she told me it may be a challenge to get pregnant and with some women, it can cause infertility altogether. Realizing I might not get to experience one of the most fulfilling experiences in life, I felt crushed and hopeless.

I was put on Metformin and a couple months later, started gearing up to get on fertility medication (Clomid). After reading how these drugs tamper with hormones and the variable success rates/side effects, I decided I wanted to try a more natural approach first. I went in to see Dr. Huang and he seemed certain that I could get pregnant if I followed hes regimen strictly. I followed his diet plan, took the herbs prescribed, and did acupuncture twice a week. I found out I was pregnant after 2 months!

I continued the treatment until my second trimester to help alleviate morning sickness and help prevent a miscarriage (which is more common in women with PCOS). I had a wonderful and healthy pregnancy and even came back for a few sessions during the last few weeks of pregnancy to alleviate swelling (which helped a lot!).

I had a beautiful healthy little girl June 27, 2015 and I am so grateful to God and to Dr. Huang's guidance that helped heal me from the inside out and blessed my life with a baby girl.

I never thought that it would take us nearly four years to be able to conceive again after our first miscarriage back in 2012. We were truly heartbroken amidst the hardship and everything we went through. Not knowing that it would literally take us this long, I began to feel frustrated with little hope. Around 2013 and 2014, we then decided to seek professional help by going to 2 different infertility clinics. After two attempts of IUI, tons of medications and injections, we felt it was just time to step back and take a break. I was tired! In the summer of 2015, I began to research alternative methods. While searching online, I came across several websites that offered “infertility acupuncture treatments”. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I went ahead and inquired about the treatment costs, etc. I stumbled across Dr. Huang’s website. What really captured my interest to pursue this even further was that this particular clinic was faith-based. I was drawn by the fact that his practice/professional work is his ministry! So, fast forward to the month of August 2015, we made an appointment to consult with Dr. Huang. I couldn’t help my tears when I was explaining to him what I’ve been through and how tough it’s been just to conceive and the worst part is, not actually knowing why as I’ve been classified as, “unexplained infertility”.

We immediately began treatment that same day and he gave us a run down about what type of foods to avoid, and that it would take about 3 months to prepare my body to conceive. At first, I thought, “seriously?” But we know that all we can do is just trust Dr. Huang’s recommendations. He also prescribed me some natural herbs to help with my blood and liver functions. The entire process takes a lot of time, patience and commitment. But the end result was definitely worth it. Nearly 5 months into the treatment, we found out early February that we’re pregnant and expecting our first child, a baby boy, due October 2016! It’s been almost a year since we began our acupuncture journey with Dr. Huang and have really enjoyed the entire process. We appreciate his prayers, Godly-advice and words of wisdom each time we meet. You’ll always see him happily smiling and full of energy!

“I have a second child on the way and I’m at 28 weeks now!”

I am 39 years old. At age 36, and with a 7 year-old daughter, I wanted a second child. With 2 unsuccessful rounds of IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization), I came to the Natural Medicine Center to receive acupuncture. We were trying to conceive for 3 years. My first conception I had a miscarriage 6 weeks later. One month later I conceived again and miscarried. All testing was normal but we still were not able to have a child. There were no reasons for my infertility and everything looked normal. I was offered IVFs and hormone injections by an infertility doctor, which did not help. The IVF treatments started May 2009 - January 2010 and were unsuccessful. It was very painful physically and emotionally, and it was financially draining. I had frustration of not being able to get pregnant. I had stress at work and was emotionally down when a friend told me acupuncture would help me.

I searched the internet, found the Agape Acupuncture, Inc., and began treatments for infertility on June 11, 2010. I was given acupuncture and herbal medicine. The treatments were not painful and very little money. I was 38 years old at the time and I had no expectations and no prior views of natural medicine. I just wanted to get pregnant and have my second child. I didn’t share it with my husband because he did not believe in natural medicine.

After a couple of months I was feeling better emotionally where I was very down previously. Miracle! I have a second child on the way and I’m at 28 weeks now! I’m very happy with the results. I have more energy and an improved quality of life. The increase in energy helped me a lot at home and at work. The herbs are very useful and my periods are always on time. I had several miscarriages and it wasn’t a shock to get pregnant but the fact the baby is healthy – my family and friends are surprised. I didn’t expect to get these results at all.

I was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure in January 2011. My FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone) was too high at 108. When I first found out, I was crying and felt frustrated with no hope. The doctors didn’t explain why. I couldn’t concentrate or work and had a lot of stress. I didn’t want to socialize. I’m a realtor and I couldn’t socialize with my clients, and this is part of my job. It was so depressing. I didn’t give quality time to my kids or friends because I was so depressed. I had 2 ultrasounds. The first doctor said my ovaries were so small and it seemed like I wouldn’t have any periods. I had a couple of follicles but it wasn’t enough. The second doctor, who did an ultrasound, didn’t see any follicles. My FSH was very high and it wasn’t going down. The only resources were egg donors. I was offered donor information with a book of women with eye color, hair color and was asked to describe how I wanted my child to look. I cried, got up and left. I felt hopeless. One of the doctors said, “I don’t want to give you hope because you are pre-menopausal.” I didn’t have any menopause symptoms. I needed to go to a place where they could give us hope because the doctors I saw couldn’t help.

I searched the internet for some sort of hope. No one gave us hope and everyone we went to were negative.  I found the Natural Medicine Center website and one of Dr. Huang’s mottos are, “God gives you herbs.” It caught my attention. I wasn’t into natural medicine before but I decided to give it a try. Other doctors haven’t given me hope.
