God gave me a divine appointment with Agape Acupuncture! I was visiting family in the OC area for two weeks after needing a break from the war in my country, Israel. When I came to Dr. Huang and the team at Agape Acupuncture, I was only looking for an herbal pharmacy where I could buy an herbal tincture that was helping me to keep a recurring throat infection from taking over my health. After multiple ineffective rounds of antibiotics, the infection was still present in a weaker state in my body, waiting to take over and make me sick. While it was not curing the infection, the tincture was helping to keep me functioning, especially with all the stress I was under.
After my initial consultation, Dr. Huang diagnosed me with multiple bacterial and viral infections, which he believed could be healed with a combination of herbs and acupuncture. After so many years of struggling with this condition, I never lost hope. I always prayed to the Lord and He brought me to Agape Acupuncture. I know it was God's divine timing. I was shopping in the shopping center and I saw the acupuncture office. I came in for a consultation after talking to the Dr. and hearing his Faith and Trust in God, I knew I was in the right place. I am going to be honest, I went home and prayed first with my family before making the decision to start treatment. I started treatment In June 2015 with flare ups through out the treatment but my bowl movements a day started to decrease. I had my procedures repeated on 7-31-2015. Back in 2001 shortly after the birth of my second son, I started experiencing stomach problems after seeing my Dr. I was told it was IBS. With a list of things to keep away from my diet I was sent home. I continued to experience problems and I would constantly be in the restroom. I finally returned to the Dr in 2003. I had a endoscopy and colonoscopy done; that's when I was diagnosed with microscopic colitis, which caused me to have severe diarrhea. I was given a steroid medication which it didn't help out at all. I would have 8-10 bowel movements a day. I continued this way with repeated procedures every 3 years, having another one on 6-17-2013 with no change no matter what they gave me.
