On October 29, 2004, I came to the Agape Acupuncture, Inc. because I wanted to stop my jaw from snapping and to stop the pain. It seemed like a good idea, the office was close to my work. I had acupuncture, herbal medicine and supplements. The treatments are painless, relaxing and help to clear the mind.
I started to feel better after the 1st week of treatments. I have no more headaches, I sleep better, I’m healthier, and I have more energy. I don’t sleep with the night guard or clench my teeth tight anymore. It’s back to normal. The staff is awesome, friendly, supportive and willing to help. I am really excited and happy to find a solution. I am amazed at results like this, and I would refer others for any type of problem. Two surgeries could not do what natural medicine did!

For 10 years, since my sophomore year in high school, I suffered from Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Syndrome. I really did not know what it was, and the only way to fix it was by surgery. I was scared and upset. In my junior year of high school, I had the surgery. Two years later, I had another surgery. I had to sleep with a mouth guard, and I would wake up in the morning with a sore jaw and neck. After each surgery, I could not eat for 2 weeks and the recovery was long.
This condition was very painful, and I also had bad headaches as a result of this. My jaw would pop open if I was talking or opening my mouth. The surgeries did not work, and the doctors wanted to do a 3rd surgery, but I refused. The doctors prescribed pain pills and anti-inflammatory medications, which I took. I had massage therapy and I went for physical therapy for 3 months. It was fine for a couple of months, but it came back – the snapping of my jaw and headaches came back. The treatments did not work and did not take care of the problem.

Now I have a very positive impression of natural medicine. My vertigo is gone and I have no more dizziness. I felt better after 3 weeks with no difficulty in reaching that state of feeling better. I am excited and very happy and pleased with the results. It positively affected everything and made it better, including more energy. The staff is just great and I love everybody. The results were better than expected and everyone is very excited for me. Now I am a firm believer in natural medicine because it works. It worked for me and I’m sure it can work for you. From November 2014 to Mid-May 2015, I suffered from Vertigo. Symptoms were dizziness, nausea, frequent headaches, and spinning sensation which prevented me from working a few times. I am a security guard and need to be on my feet and alert. The vertigo hampered that because I couldn’t work while spinning. I consulted our family physician and they gave me a ear hearing test which came out normal, then they sent me to a head and neck specialist at Kaiser. I took a few days of motion sickness medications. There was no treatment and the medication did not help me at all.
On April 30, 2015 I came to Agape Acupuncture, Inc. - Natural Health Orange County. I met Dr. Kevin and Dr. Janet back at church 10 years ago. I remembered they had this business, then came to see what he had to say. I was not a believer in natural medicine before coming because I really didn’t know that much about it or have views on it.
