On November 24, 2018, I went to the dermatologist and was diagnosed with eczema dermatitis. I was shocked. I didn't realize I had something that serious because I was pretty healthy; it was odd that I had severe eczema. Eczema caused me to have severe swelling, major pain that felt like someone was punching me in the face. My primary doctor prescribed Prednisone, but they had bad side effects. I even tried high dose IV, and that didn't help at all. They kept prescribing me more and more medication; it made everything worse. Eczema affected my social life, work, and sleep. Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a combination of physical or emotional symptoms that occur in over 90% of women. Researchers believed that PMS happens when estrogen and progesterone levels start decreasing drastically after the day of ovulation. PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME SYMPTOMS
Everyone experiences premenstrual syndrome symptoms differently. Some may experience physical symptoms, emotional symptoms, or both. Physical symptoms of PMS may be abdominal bloating or cramping, gassiness, headache, backaches, swollen or tender breasts, and constipation or diarrhea. While others may experience emotional symptoms such as irritability, tiredness, insomnia, food cravings, tension or anxiety, depression, sadness, crying spells, and mood swings or anger.
Risk Factors are:
Have a high level of stress.
Have a family history of depression or a personal history of either depression or postpartum depression.
TREATMENT OF PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME
Premenstrual syndrome can be treated with over the counter and prescription medicine. Physical symptoms of PMS may be relieved with over the counter medication such as ibuprofen, naproxen, or aspirin. If over the counter medication does not work, prescription medicine or hormonal birth control may also help to reduce PMS symptoms. Emotional symptoms of PMS can be reduced with an antidepressant such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and anti-anxiety medicine.
ACUPUNCTURE TO BENEFIT PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME
Acupuncture helps premenstrual syndrome by inducing the homeostatic response on the cellular level. They influence the body's internal organs to correct imbalances in the nervous system to improve the circulation of energy through the meridians. Acupuncture stimulates the central nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These chemicals will change the experience of sensory, or they will trigger the release of other chemicals and hormones which influence the body's own internal regulating system. MIGRAINES HEADACHES | Saved from a lifetime of Headaches!

At 14 years of age, I started getting migraine headaches. At that time, I really did not understand - I just knew I had pain. I had family members who also suffered from this: my mother, her sister, my maternal grandmother, and on my father’s side two of his sisters. I experienced a little halo before my eyes, as it progressed a little flash of light and then I would lose my peripheral vision. The headaches affected everything, and it got to the point I was bed ridden. When my migraines come on, I would have to seclude myself in a dark room (no light) and certain odors made it worse. I saw a Neurologist who prescribed shots and prescription drugs such as Imitrex, a muscle relaxer, medication for nausea and a few others ones. I also had biofeedback therapy. From 1988 to 2011 the treatments just treated the symptoms and not the problem. I suffered from a lifetime of headaches and saw 15 medical doctors with no success.
I was looking for something other than what I was having to take - something that worked with no aftermath. On June 11, 2012 I started acupuncture, herbs and dietary guidelines with Dr. Kevin Huang at Agape Acupuncture, Inc. The office is different but educational. It is not your customary doctor office. I really did not understand natural medicine and I was uneducated about it so I really did not have any expectations. The treatments are customized for each patient and caters to the person, body and lifestyle. My friends and family were skeptical at first and now they are supportive. I have had at least 3 relatives come here for other ailments.
After a couple weeks I had more energy and I just felt better in general. In six months I have only had three headaches which were induced by coast to coast air travel.
