ABOUT DR. YEH | YEH CENTER | MEET THE OWNER | Dr. Janet Yeh graduated Summa Cum Laude and holds a Doctorate of Science degree in Nutrition Counseling. She is a medical acupuncturist and herbalist. Dr. Janet Yeh majored in biology at the University of California, San Diego. During that time, she worked in the UCSD Medical Center in the pediatrics department as well as in the Scripps Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. For most of her life, she has worked in the medical field. Natural medicine has been more than a profession to her, it is a family tradition and a way of life.
In 1999, the American Biographical Institute awarded Dr. Janet Yeh "Woman Of the Year". She has also been recognized in editions of the International "Who's Who" of Professional and Business Women, as well as "1000 World Leaders of Influence." I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) 2 years ago and I have been struggling with acne and hormone problems for years. I had depression, fatigue, hair loss and my cycle was 19 days instead of 28 days. I had loss of sleep, weight loss, high testosterone (androgen) and an ovarian cyst burst. I was on antibiotics, bio-identical hormones, different natural remedies. I was prescribed hormone replacement, but it did not work for me. I also tried acne topical medications and a testosterone blocker. I was on birth control for 6 years. Afterwards, my body was out of whack. I had a little hope in the acne clearing up but I was discouraged about the PCOS. The acne was due to PCOS and it got worst when I got off the birth control. I was lethargic and stayed away from friends and events. At work, I was always tired and I also lost work due to ovarian cyst bursting. I was in and out of the hospital. I was completely exhausted in trying to end the acne, PMS and hormonal issues – nothing really helped me, except diet and exercise.

I have suffered from anxiety, stress, insomnia and low energy for 6-7 years. My condition was work related. Everything was going downhill and my condition turned into health issues. I was always getting sick with flu like symptoms. The modern medicine doctors gave me drug medications, which only gave me temporary relief. I was not getting well and I was not happy with the treatments.
