I started going to Agape Acupuncture on November 6th 2017 primarily for my facial paralysis along with high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and gastritis as my secondary illness.  I was first diagnosed on November 1st of 2017 and suffered no more than week before seeing Dr. Huang for my medical conditions. After hearing the news, I was scared and worried that my facial paralysis was not going to get cured. I had a hard time drinking water, communicating with people and I didn’t want to go outside so I decided to stay home most of the time, it was very depressing for me.  I sought much help from conventional doctors and all they would do was prescribed me pills.  It was then that my son stepped in and researched other alternatives for me. I totally recommend Dr. Huang for acupuncture. I have been going to him for the last two years for several conditions but primarily are bladder issue. I am 94% better which is huge! Since I slipped and fell over one year ago, my neck was in pain and my range of motion was getting worse. I thought eventually the pain and stiffness would go away. It only increased, so I went to my primary physician and he referred me to a pain specialist for my neck. The specialist suggested to burn the nerves in my neck, which he felt would eliminate the pain. I wasn't comfortable with the surgery he suggested, so I was in a quandary of what my next step would be.

A few months went by and the pain and stiffness continued to increased. At Bible study I shared this information with Janet Huang. She said that at the Natural Health Clinic, they treat that type of pain using acupuncture. I was hesitant since I wasn't familiar at all with acupuncture. I went ahead and gave it a try. The results were gradual, but the pain and my range of motion only improved. I have been so relieved to experience the positive results. In June 2014 I experienced a solid week of severe anxiety. I took medication, which relieved it but I felt like I could easily become dependent on it. I began acupuncture with a different provider.  After nearly three months I felt more downs than ups so as I decided to research acupuncture doctors in my area. I found Agape Acupuncture and Dr. Huang. I read the many testimonials and decided to go in for a consultation. From the moment I walked into the office I felt this sense of calmness and peace.  

I began treatment with Dr. Huang in September. I immediately felt at peace. The fact that Dr. Huang is Christian has made the experience amazing. I felt a deep connection and belief in the treatment I received.  Of course I’ve experienced a couple of setbacks.  

At one of my sessions I shared with Dr. Huang that I was about to give up - I wanted to feel better now. I was ready to go to a doctor for anxiety medication - take the easy way out; I cried and he listened. He calmed me down, talked to me, and honest to God gave me advise that I will follow for the rest of my life. Talking with Dr. Huang, taking my prescribed herbs, and going to my acupuncture sessions have all helped me cope with the things that caused me anxiety in the past.  I am true believer in natural medicine.

Recently I had a bad cold; I thought I’d take an over the counter medication; big mistake.  I felt terrible the following morning with heart palpitations that always seemed to be the onset of an anxiety attack for me. The first thing I did was drink a strong cup of chamomile tea that morning and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Huang for a treatment.  He prescribed me herbs and I honestly felt better the following morning.  All thanks to natural medicine and acupuncture.
I am currently seeing Dr. Huang for acupuncture every other week and will begin seeing him every three weeks now and continue taking herbs. I could never have done this without Dr. Huang, his team of wonderful people, and God. I am a true believer in natural medicine and have learned to cope with anxiety with the wisdom, prayer and treatment of Dr. Huang and I can honestly say I have peace in my heart knowing that I made that right decision.

I have been suffering with Tinnitus for approximately 13 years. I had ringing in my ears so working in an office and concentrating would sometimes be very distracting. Many times, it was hard to hear a Bible study at church. The ringing would be very loud. In a crowded restaurant, it would be very hard to hear a conversation.
