I suffered from fibromyalgia for over 7 years, and I was diagnosed with heel spurs 3½ years ago. It started on my heels and then it went to my hip. This condition affected every aspect of my life. It made me tired and made it difficult to care for a child and keep up the household. The pain and fatigue affected my work and socializing with friends and family. The pain was too much and I could not walk. I was tired all the time.
I went to the medical doctors and they did nerve testing and x-rays. They found large heel spurs on my left and right foot. They gave me cortisone shots which ultimately did not help me and I was in pain and had difficulty walking. There were no results from the cortisone shots.
On June 23, 2006, I came to the Agape Acupuncture, Inc. with the encouragement of my sister. I was interested in learning about natural medicine, but I have never tried it. I wanted to be alleviated of the constant pain and I hoped to be able to walk normally again without pain. I began receiving acupuncture treatments and taking herbal medicine.

For 16 years, I suffered from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and chronic muscle, joint and nerve pain. I also had severe migraines. 6 months ago, it was discovered that I had spinal problems and the doctor wanted to put a screw between my vertebrae and my nerves would be severed. I had muscle spasms and restricted movement, and I was always extra careful on everything that required movement. I could not exercise.
I was on a lot of drug medications and I tried a lot of medications prescribed by my primary physician, my neurologist, and the orthopedic doctor. I took drug medications like it was candy. I was on anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle-relaxers and pain killers. I had physical therapy, but my condition would worsen. I had a lower back surgical procedure that was a nerve block. There were no results from the treatments and medications.
On July 2, 2005, the Lord guided me to the Natural Medicine Center. Out of thousands of clinics, the Lord found this place and my daughter and I are here. My family was very supportive. Since 2004, I have had severe pain in my hip. I went to different physical therapists. I took drug medications from my MD, which caused stomach irritations. I wanted to heal and so I tried many doctors and in 5 years nothing helped. The pain started on the left side of my hip and the same pain went all the way to my leg. During this time, the pain began to travel upward to my neck and head, which made it difficult for me to move my neck. This pain affected everything.
