In July 2021, at age 70, I underwent a liver CT scan at Saddleback Memorial Hospital. Unexpectedly, the scan also revealed a nodule in my lung. Although the image was unclear—since the scan wasn't intended for the lung—this fortunate accident led to the discovery of a potentially life-threatening issue.
A month later, in August, I had a dedicated lung CT scan, which showed an 11mm nodule on my lower left lung, roughly the size of a dime. I was deeply concerned it might lead to lung cancer. My doctor advised monitoring its growth over time.
By March 2022, seven months later, my second CT scan revealed that the nodule had grown slightly, from 11mm to 12mm. Although its slow growth suggested it was non-aggressive, I was determined to eliminate it. I chose not to immediately proceed with a follow-up CT-guided biopsy that was recommended by the doctor due to concerns about possible side effects from the procedure. Wanting to avoid chemotherapy, I turned to natural medicine and prayed for guidance to find the right doctor.
That answer came in the form of Dr. Huang at Agape Natural Health in Newport Beach. After researching doctors online, I felt drawn to Dr. Huang, who specializes in acupuncture and herbs. Patient testimonials spoke highly of his success, and I trusted my instincts to book an appointment in May 2022.
During our consultation, we discussed not only my lung nodule but also my broader health challenges. Initially, I had 16 other serious health issues (comorbidity) that I have suffered with and taking 9 prescription medications. Dr. Huang explained that my weakened body was likely the root cause of these conditions. I was instructed to undergo acupuncture sessions weekly plus herbal supplements he prescribed. He also encouraged regular exercise and guided me to a balanced diet.
By the halfway point of my acupuncture treatments, I noticed increased energy levels.
In August 2022, another CT scan at Saddleback Memorial Hospital revealed that the lung nodule had shrunk from 12mm to 8mm. I was so happy and joyful with this news. This significant reduction confirmed that Dr. Huang's treatment plan was effective.
After months of treatment at Agape Natural Health and seeing the reduction in the lung nodule, I felt at peace and comfortable to move forward with a CT-guided biopsy to further evaluate the lung nodule.
My February 2023 bloodwork showed normalized cholesterol and triglyceride levels, improved and stabilized blood sugar and blood pressure, and improved liver health. My bone density also remained stable.
Finally, on March 7, 2023, I was scheduled for a CT guided lung biopsy at Providence Mission Hospital. However, while preparing for the biopsy procedure, the doctor shared shocking and astonishing news: "there's no need for a biopsy. We found no nodule on your left lower lung." Overwhelmed with gratitude, I nearly cried out, "Praise God! This is a miracle!" My husband, waiting in the lobby, was equally stunned and thankful. It felt like a divine blessing, and I firmly believe that Dr. Huang's treatments played a crucial role in this outcome.

Six years ago, I found myself battling HBP (High Blood Pressure) due to overwhelming stress. Then, to my devastation, shock, and horror, about three years ago, I received the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis—a progressive autoimmune disorder where my immune system attacks my central nervous system, causing lesions. Neurologists informed me that I had multiple lesions on my brain. The left side of my body became weak to the point where I couldn’t walk. I am a 69-year-old patient who has been seeking treatment at Agape Natural Health since March 2021, driving all the way from Los Angeles to Newport Beach on a weekly basis for acupuncture treatments and herbal supplements. When I first arrived at the clinic, I had been battling diabetes for 16 years and was reliant on medications to manage my condition but my blood sugar continued to trend up over the years and beginning to become out of control.

I started going to Agape Acupuncture on November 6th 2017 primarily for my facial paralysis along with high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and gastritis as my secondary illness. I was first diagnosed on November 1st of 2017 and suffered no more than week before seeing Dr. Huang for my medical conditions. After hearing the news, I was scared and worried that my facial paralysis was not going to get cured. I started having high blood pressure 8 years ago and I felt sad when I received the diagnosis. It is hard to describe but my head and ears felt strange. I have suffered with liver inflammation and heart problems for 11 eleven years, and I only took drug medicines from the doctors. In 2001, I was also diagnosed with diabetes. I didn’t know how to control myself and didn’t know if I would survive. I wanted to be healed from the illnesses. The main problem was the heart and I couldn’t have surgery because of the inflammation of the liver. I had Hepatitis C and didn’t want to take the risk of contaminating my organs. I had low energy, my body’s defense was low (immune system) and I couldn’t sleep. I needed more oxygen because I couldn’t breath. I couldn’t go out and have a normal life, nor could I take a shower by myself. I had SOB (shortness of breath) so I couldn’t have a conversation and I couldn’t walk far.
I took 15 medications every day. After visiting a lot of MDs, having exams and taking drug medicines – none of them helped. There was no therapy for my situation on medication. The medicine was for the heart and high blood pressure (HBP). None of the medications helped at all and I needed to have heart surgery but couldn’t. I began treatment with the Cardiologists from June 2010 to December 2010 with no results, and my condition was getting worse.

When I was 20 years old I had Vertigo for one week. After 50 years the Vertigo has come back. Now that I am 70 years old, the Vertigo came for 3 weeks but very strong. 30 years ago I also started taking medicine for High Blood Pressure (HBP). Sometimes my head was very hot and I was sweating. During the day for a few hours, I couldn’t do anything and I just wanted to sleep. I also couldn’t exercise. I was taking Atenolol 50 mg for High Blood Pressure and the side effects were constipation. I still take medicine for High Blood Pressure but less dosage. The treatments the doctors recommended weren’t healing the Vertigo but it was less and made me more relaxed.
The first time I came here was September 21, 2013. A Chiropractor who use to come here referred me. I hoped to get healing from the Vertigo. My family was supportive and they had faith for my healing. The clinic is very clean and in order. I never tried Acupuncture but in Mexico, they always try to heal people with the herbs. I received Acupuncture and herbal medicine at Agape Acupuncture. The needles doctor used do not hurt and the herbs are easy to take. Since the second treatment I feel better. Now the Vertigo is completely gone and the High Blood Pressure is under control. Now I walk and work more. I can also do different exercises. I have a better quality of life! The doctors and staff are very professional. I am happy. I thank you God and doctors. I didn’t expect these results and I am very happy and grateful! My family is very happy because I’m healing. For sure I will recommend others. I’m sure they can heal many diseases because years ago everybody used herbs for healing from plants. He told others to try natural medicine and don’t waste time and money with chemicals. I will tell them I’m the example. Thank you for God and to my daughter that because she brought me here.
