We kept trying to find ways to help them with other alternatives. We worked on their diet and gave them no more fast food. We enrolled the boys in speech therapy classes. We were doing everything but we were seeing little results and just not much improvement.

In August, 2005, we came to the Natural Medicine Center because we were hopeful that the boys’ condition could get more improvements. The medical staff was very welcoming, friendly and nice, and all my questions were answered. The promptness of the response was very impressive. They began acupuncture and herbs, and they changed their diet. The staff is good with the kids.

On August 30, 2011, I had a stroke. It happened during a procedure for an angiogram to put in two stents. A piece of plaque was chipped off which caused the stroke. Prior to this ordeal, I was very happy and healthy. As a result of the stroke, I was paralyzed on the right side and could not walk. My speech was impeded and I couldn’t use my right hand until physical therapy. I also received speech therapy and occupational therapy. Recovering from a stroke takes time, the 90 day window is very important. I sought all the help I could get during those 90 days.

I was referred to Agape Natural Health by my sister and friends. I was not sure but when my MD said it would not hurt, I felt comfortable coming here. My friends and family were happy and supportive and they felt it would be a positive experience. My first impression of the clinic was welcoming and professional. Everybody is wonderful – very warm and friendly.

My main focus was to get better. My treatments included acupuncture which was very easy to embrace and no pain. I noticed right away I was feeling better - a big improvement in being able to walk without a cane and all around general good health. I did not know I would get these results. In April 2008 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. I was shocked and concerned due to my father having the same health issue. I had a very abnormal digestive process, bouts of diarrhea and lack of energy. I also felt bloated and weak. My food selection was limited. Different foods that I would eat would have an adverse affect on my digestive system. I always made sure I was close to a restroom. My condition was constantly on my mind and I wondered what the future held for me. Over all it was an unknown type of illness that would affect me down the road. I thought I would never have a normal life.

My MD prescribed two different types of medications Entocort and Mercaptopurine. The treatments offered to me were medications and doctor visits. I also had a Colonoscopy (upper and lower GI) and a CAT scan. While taking these medications I had side effects of weakness and joint pain. It maintained my symptoms more than reversed the disease. The medications stabilized my symptoms and I had an occasional flare up – even though I was taking my medications.

A friend referred me to Dr. Huang and I began coming to Natural Medicine Center on April 28, 2011. I was hoping that it would reverse the Crohn’s Disease and give me energy that would sustain me. The clinic had a professional - extremely nice atmosphere and very friendly. I was not very educated on natural medicine and not aware of everything it could do. Slowly I began to wean myself off the medications. Within the first 3 months I began to feel better. I had increased energy and quality of life. The process included different portions of the body stimulated via a needle to bring healing. I had very positive results! I’m totally free of drug medications. My symptoms have subsided drastically, energy level increased and my digestive system has stabilized.

Home and social life is great now! My disease used to be constantly in the fore thoughts of my mind and now it’s not. Everyone at the Natural Medicine Center is great and very friendly and informative – willing to answer any questions. I am very happy and confident with my results! My friends and family are also very happy and supportive of me. I’ve already referred my friend and sister. I view natural medicine as more of a first line of treatment now. I suffered from dizziness and hypertension (HTN) – high blood pressure. I had shortness of breath and I was very weak. This concerned me because I had a quadruple bypass surgery in May 2000. The doctors thought that I had pneumonia before I had the surgery.  I was very afraid and thought that my life was over when I found out that I needed the surgery. “At the end of the fourth treatment, I experienced noticeable relief!”

In July, 2011 I experienced an earache and the next morning woke up with vertigo, which I had never known before.  The symptoms were severe and quite debilitating.  While lying in bed, it often felt as if I were falling about 30 feet.  When sitting, it only took a slight movement of my eyes to set off the sensation of spinning wildly. I had difficulty walking unless I could keep my hand on a wall and driving a car was out of the question.  About all I could do safely was to sit on the couch or sleep, but even while sleeping I would be awakened by the sensation of falling.

I went immediately to my medical doctor, who diagnosed my condition as a viral ear infection.  She prescribed some motion sickness medication, but I wasn’t feeling seasick and the medicine made me feel awful so I only took it for a few days.  There was no other prescription that could have an effect on the viral infection, so I suffered for several weeks I missed several days at my job, and was only able to work by pretty much staying at my desk or walking for short distances along a wall.

Finally I decided to try acupuncture and was blessed to find Dr. Huang and the Natural Medicine Center.  After a consultation, he said he thought he could provide at least some relief if I would commit to 10 or 12 treatments. At the end of the fourth treatment, I experienced noticeable relief!  And the vertigo was basically gone after the ninth or tenth treatment!  I completed the 12 treatments and was able to return to my normal activities without symptoms at all.

In March, 2012, I had another earache and again awakened with vertigo, although the symptoms were not nearly as severe as before. I went immediately to Dr. Huang and, after only a few treatments, the vertigo symptoms were again completely gone. I am now taking regular treatments for other conditions with complete confidence that they will improve. I highly recommend the Natural Medicine Center and their fabulous staff!

In May 2009, I was diagnosed with diabetes and was depressed and scared when I learned of the findings. I was tired and had low energy and dark facial spots. I had frequent headaches and dizziness and my energy was low. Even though I would sleep well, I would wake up really tired.

My primary doctor prescribed drug medicines for me and she explained that I had to take these pills for the rest of my life. These drugs would only control my diabetes and I would experience secondary negative effects. The conversation with my doctor had told me that there was no cure.

I searched on my own and I had hope of healing and recovering my good health that I had before. I looked on the internet for information on my disease and found this natural clinic. Also, a friend of mine had brought his wife in and she had felt much better. I believed in natural medicine and I started acupuncture treatments along with herbs and nutrition guidelines.

I thought my process of healing would be slow, but it was the opposite. Rapidly, I felt the difference, and I felt way better. The results were good. I began feeling more energy and my sugar levels on the blood tests started coming out better and the dark spots on my face are lighter. Today I am happier and I can wake with less worries and more energy. I have a better quality of life and I even lost weight.

The staff is good and kind, and they always call us by our names, which gives us more trust. The medical staff is really attentive and always there to answer any questions. I am really happy with God, with the doctor, and myself for following the instructions step by step. Everyone is happy with my good results.

My primary doctor said she didn’t know what I was doing but to continue doing it because the results from the exams were really good in comparison to my diagnosis the first time. The benefits for me are extraordinary and in the future with any other disease, I would decide to come to the Natural Medicine Center first. At age nine I experienced my first migraine. I have been suffering from migraines for the last seven years. The past year was especially painful. I began to experience at least one migraine each week. The pain from the migraines intensified after receiving a concussion from football.

Since 1990, I have had vaginal and bladder infections. Two years ago, in 2004, I began to have chronic bladder infections and urinary tract infections. I would also get reoccurring yeast infections. I had to stay in bed because the pain and discomfort limited me. My condition affected every part of my life. I was frustrated, sad and scared.

I went to different medical doctors, including a gynecologist and radiologist, and they did a lot of testing. I went from doctor to doctor and they put me on 40 different kinds of antibiotics to treat the chronic infection. The medical doctors just covered the symptoms and did not go to the source. In 2004, I begin to have numbness and pain in my joints, which affected every part of my life. It was hard for me to take care of my baby and do all the things a mother needed to do; change his diaper, bathe him, and even to carry him was painful. In 2005, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis - an autoimmune condition. I was sad and could not believe it – I was scared. I went to the MD and was prescribed Naproxin and Methotrexate (MTX). The side effects were cough and my blood count was abnormal. It helped for a time and I stopped the medications in 2006. In 2011 my condition started again and this time the drugs did not help.

I had visible hair loss, menopause with day and night sweats, insomnia and inconsistent energy levels. I worked out in the morning, 5 days a week at the gym. I thought I was eating well and in good shape. My energy levels were always high after a workout but would drop during the course of the day. My nightly rest was broken with frequent night sweats. I used a variety of hair products and recommended vitamins, trying to stop the hair fall out and stimulate new hair growth and also to reduce the side effects of menopause. None of them worked.

My son made an appointment for a consultation at the Natural Medicine Center. After the body scans examination, the end result was to cleanse, detoxify and strengthen my weak inner support system. I am 39 years old. At age 36, and with a 7 year-old daughter, I wanted a second child. With 2 unsuccessful rounds of IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization), I came to the Natural Medicine Center to receive acupuncture. We were trying to conceive for 3 years. My first conception I had a miscarriage 6 weeks later. One month later I conceived again and miscarried. All testing was normal but we still were not able to have a child. There were no reasons for my infertility and everything looked normal. I was offered IVFs and hormone injections by an infertility doctor, which did not help. The IVF treatments started May 2009 - January 2010 and were unsuccessful. It was very painful physically and emotionally, and it was financially draining. I had frustration of not being able to get pregnant. I had stress at work and was emotionally down when a friend told me acupuncture would help me.

I searched the internet, found the Agape Acupuncture, Inc., and began treatments for infertility on June 11, 2010. I was given acupuncture and herbal medicine. The treatments were not painful and very little money. I was 38 years old at the time and I had no expectations and no prior views of natural medicine. Since March 2008, I suffered from interstitial cystitis (IC) with bad bladder infections. I had to go to the restroom 10-15 at night and there was lots of pelvic and bladder pain. The Oncologist told me I had CIN1 (vaginal cancer cells) and said to come back in 6 months. Then after that time if it had advanced to the CIN2 stage, then they would do a laser procedure that only took three seconds but was expensive and very painful so anesthesia and hospitalization is required. Being very disappointed with the lack of any helpful information I decided to do something about it myself.

A few months later at the car wash I saw their sign saying Acupuncture and Natural Medicine. I went in and enrolled on the spot. Dr. Kevin Huang said the herb was fine but not enough. He started treating me very aggressively to help strengthen the immune system.

Just had that 6 month check up. The Oncologist’s face looked rather blank after examination, and all he could reply was “I don’t see anything”.

My decision not to sit back and wait, but to have taken this into my own hands was a good choice. However I am certain that the supplements, herbal teas, and acupuncture greatly attributed to getting rid of these pre-cancer cells.

Always being interested in Acupuncture but not knowing anyone who had tried it, I am actually grateful that I had something to take me into them. Through their lab diagnosis it was also discovered that I have Epstein Bar Syndrome and a very ill immune system. Since the start of treatment these additional conditions show great improvement.

In July, 2006, I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. It was completely unexpected. On August 8, 2006 I had surgery to have a mass by the left groin removed. I had low energy and my left leg was swollen from the surgery. The medical doctors prescribed Prednisone, a corticosteroid drug medication, and my chemotherapy was scheduled for September, 2006.

On September 11, 2006, I came to the Natural Medicine Center. I wanted to go natural before starting chemotherapy, so that all the side effects from chemo would be minimized. I knew that coming here first would help support me through chemotherapy and I believed in natural medicine. I began acupuncture treatments, herbal medicine, and following nutritional and dietary guidelines.

I started feeling better right after the first treatment. Two weeks into the acupuncture treatments, I started chemo. I had a total of 6 chemotherapy sessions and the side effects were minimal and I had lots of energy. I lost weight, and I lost 6 inches. I am excited about the results and excited for the future. I am able to continue as if I did not have cancer.

The Natural Medicine Center did not compromise the modern medicine perspective with natural medicine views. ENDOMETRIOMA & ENDOMETRIAL CYST

“I started doing regular acupuncture immediately and within 3 weeks, my abdominal and related pains disappeared entirely.”

At the end of September, 2 rounds of week-long abdominal pain during September and October, respectively, brought me to my Dr's office. That visit prompted a CT scan, which then prompted a follow up ultrasound, and they collectively revealed a plum-sized complex cyst on an ovary. I was referred to a gynecological surgeon, who suspected the cyst to be an endometrioma accompanied by a moderate-to-high level of endometriosis. She recommended removal of the cyst and requested a CA-125 blood test that revealed moderately elevated levels that potentially indicated cancer. Upon a follow-up ultrasound, the gynecological surgeon's recommendation shifted to a removal of the entire ovary, which was overtaken by the mass, by outpatient laprascopy. From that ultrasound, however, she also felt the cyst looked more complicated than a straightforward endometrioma and requested an OVA1 blood test.  That test also revealed an elevated level that was indicative of cancer.  She then referred me to a gynecological/oncological surgeon.

In December, that oncologist recommended a hysterectomy in addition to removal of the ovary and wanted to pre-consent the removal of the other ovary, as well as additional staging/surgery deemed necessary. This was a very scary prospect and everything was happening so fast. I sought a second opinion in January from another gynecological oncological surgeon, who recommended a third ultrasound, which revealed the mass was becoming even more complex. He then recommended removal of the ovary through an outpatient laproscopic procedure, a full pathology of the mass and the excising of any endometriosis spots.  I elected to follow this surgeon’s approach.

Meanwhile, I came to Dr. Huang in late November after a friend who he had healed of her migraines referred me. I started doing regular acupuncture immediately and within 3 weeks, my abdominal and related pains disappeared entirely. I did not experience any further abdominal pain or discomfort whatsoever up until the time of my surgery at the end of February. The acupuncture, along with Dr. Huang’s prayers and caring staff, helped manage intermittent pain emanating from my ovarian region, as well as my stress levels. And he helped remind me to be strong because God was at work in seeing me through this.

The surgery in February was successful – the surgeon removed the ovary with the mass, but found no endometriosis spots to excise!  The pathology of the mass revealed it to be a benign endometrial cyst!!  This is the best we could have hoped for! I am continuing acupuncture and am now taking herbs Dr. Huang recommends to help expedite the recovery process and to prevent future cysts from forming.  I am so thankful to have not been in pain, that the cyst was not cancerous, that the rest of my reproductive system remains intact and that I have no signs of endometriosis.  In short, I thankful beyond words for the healing hand of God on my body and for Dr. Huang’s expertise, kindness, comfort and healing efforts during this process, which he does all in the name of our Jesus.
