I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) 2 years ago and I have been struggling with acne and hormone problems for years. I had depression, fatigue, hair loss and my cycle was 19 days instead of 28 days. I had loss of sleep, weight loss, high testosterone (androgen) and an ovarian cyst burst. I was on antibiotics, bio-identical hormones, different natural remedies. I was prescribed hormone replacement, but it did not work for me. Acupuncture Breast Cancer Support, acupuncture cancer pain and Natural Medicine Center is very pleased to share with you a left ventricular ejection fraction report done with NM Cardiac Blood Pool Imaging, Gagted Equilibrium, Wall Motion Study With Ejection Fraction Test from a patient that is battling breast cancer stage 2 diagnosed in October 2012

Patient is currently going through chemotherapy along with acupuncture cancer support with Natural Medicine Center.  She is making great improvements while she struggles with the side-effects of chemotherapy.  We are complementing her with acupuncture cancer support.  The chemotherapy medications’ side-effects the patient is on are known to have cardiotoxicity and that would lower the left ventricular ejection fraction and increase the risk of heart failure.

Patient had left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) test done before starting for the first time chemotherapy and the result was 56.2% on 11-13-12where above 55% is considered normal range.  Patient has been receiving chemotherapy at Kaiser and acupuncture breast cancer support with us here at Natural Medicine Center at the same time and the results came from Kaiser on 2-26-13 almost 3 months of chemotherapy along with acupuncture breast cancer support where the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was greatly improved to 72%!  It was a great result where the patient’s ejection fraction improved with acupuncture breast cancer support and not decrease as was expected by her other doctors due to the chemotherapy.

I suffered from trigeminal neuralgia and headaches on and off for over 5 years. I knew there wasn’t a cure. It began because my body was weakened and stressed. I had been treated for cancer 14 years ago and had surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, which contributed to the weakening of my body.

When the neuralgia flare-ups occurred, I had a faint pain over the left side of my face and head. At its worst, I have been incapacitated for 3 to 4 days in bed and I wouldn’t be able to function. Headaches would continue for 4 to 6 weeks and residual headaches made it hard to concentrate. I saw an internist who wanted me to take anti-seizure medication. I took drugs including Motrin, none of which helped, and I tried to let it ride out. Western medicine is not successful in treating trigeminal neuralgia.

On January 18, 2005, I came to the Natural Medicine Center. I was in a lot of pain and was led here one day for a reason. I have always believed in complimentary or alternative medicine, and I knew that I was going to get relief. I was impressed because the clinic has a warm and friendly atmosphere with relaxing music and hot tea.

I was given acupuncture, herbs and nutrition. The treatments are relaxing and gives you hope. After the first treatment, I received 80% relief and now it is completely resolved. My energy improved, my outlook is brighter, my insomnia is getting better, and overall I’m just feeling much better. I have more energy and more fun, and I can get more things done.

For 4½ years, I suffered from chronic diarrhea. I was always healthy and never got sick until the diarrhea. It started after the dentist gave me antibiotics for swollen gums. The semen analysis showed sperm concentration to be decreased with only 4% normal sperm cell morphology with 70% amorphic (lack of shape). The pathologist diagnosis was asthenospermia and teratospermia. The liquefaction time was out of range at greater than 60 minutes. The analysis showed 22% spermatozoa moving aimlessly with slow forward progression (grade 2).

This is my most recent lab work after undergoing a series of treatments consisting of acupuncture, herbal medicine, herbal tablets and dietary guidelines at the Natural Medicine Center. The sperm analysis showed sperm concentration to be in normal range with 78% normal sperm cell morphology. The liquefaction was complete and normal. The analysis showed 40% spermatozoa moving at high and moderate speed with straight line forward progression (grade 3&4).

For 37 years, since I was 7 years old, I have had this problem of chronic urinary tract infections. I felt depressed due to the symptoms. Because the burning was intense, I would limit going out especially during the summer or when the weather was hot, which aggravated symptoms. I was not able to go out or eat certain foods because I would get the infection. If I did not drink water I would get it too.

My energy level is great and I can be around my loved ones.

I am excited about the results and that I get to go back to school. My family is excited as well and has been very supportive. For a long time, I suffered with Acid Reflux, but in May of 2006, I became very ill. I went to my medical doctor and he prescribed Protonix, which I took for 8 months with no results or feeling better. It is now December 2007 and I feel a thousand times better, with much more energy, my blood pressure is controlled and my cholesterol is normal. My stomach is much better. Since May, 2007, I suffered from emotional problems - anxiety and depression. I was depressed most of the time and I had a lot of anxiety. I was not sleeping well and suffered from insomnia. I had dizziness, low energy, headaches and nausea. I also had digestive problems, with poor appetite and I could not eat. The more I thought about my condition, the more upset I would get. I was not able to go to work and all I did was just lay in bed.

I was prescribed drug medications and anti-depression pills, but I did not want to be on drugs. I was looking for more natural ways to help myself so in June 2007, I came to the Natural Medicine Center. I began getting acupuncture treatments and taking herbs. I did believe in natural medicine, but I never tried it before. My family and friends were very supportive, and I wanted to get better in every way.

Within a month after coming for treatments, I felt better. I have more energy and I am able to work again. I am able to be around my family and I am back to myself. My body feels cleaner and healthier. Everyone notices that I have more energy and that I am willing to be around them. The combination of both the acupuncture and herbs works better. I feel good about the results.

The staff at Natural Medicine Center is professional and they made me feel comfortable. If I were to have any other problems in the future, I would come here first and get treatment. I encourage others to try it because it is all natural and will not give them any side effects. I would tell my story to others because I got good results and I got better.

6 YEARS OF MIGRAINE HEADACHES

“4 weeks into the treatments, I started feeling better - from having 2-3 migraines a day to having none at all.”

For 6 years, I had migraine headaches excessively. I had to lessen my activities and change my entire routine. I had nausea, vomiting, lightheadedness, hair loss, and cold sensations on the back of the neck. I had sensitivity to light and sound, and my condition made me really sensitive all around. I would have to go home from work a lot and I couldn’t do my daily routines. I couldn’t go to family events, or do any kind of physical activity such as dance or exercise. I couldn’t go out with friends, and I had to take lots of medications. My condition also caused mood swings and irritability.

From 2000-2004, I went to doctors and to the emergency room and was prescribed many drug medications. I took prescription and over the counter drugs. I took Imitrex everyday, Ibuprophen (800mg), and several others. I went to the neurologist and had several CAT scans and MRIs. There were no results from modern medicine, and the prescribed medications actually put me back into the hospital. They were only temporary solutions to a permanent problem. In 2004, I gave up and I just stayed home and took aspirins. I thought that my illness was something that I would have to live with.

In September 2006, I came to the Natural Medicine Center because what I had tried before didn’t help, and I saw positive results watching my family come in. I didn’t know about natural medicine but I was at ease. I began treatments with acupuncture and taking herbal medicine.

4 weeks into the treatments, I started feeling better - from having 2-3 migraines a day to having none at all. I no longer have to carry the Advil and the migraines are gone from everyday life. It is such a blessing to be able to live life. I felt my body being balanced and the herbal teas helped cleanse my system on a daily basis. I no longer have to pre-plan things, and I am able to complete the activities at work.

My family and friends have been very supportive and they are excited that I am less dependent on the drug medications. I would refer others and tell them that there is no harm in trying. The staff is nice and polite and the clinic is very comfortable, relaxing and clean. I am 100% for the natural way. It is healthier and more beneficial with no side effects.
