Dear Dr. Huang,

Good Afternoon to you!  I trust all is well with you and your staff.  I just wanted to take a moment of reflection with you and thank you for the amazing care and treatment that your Clinic has been to me.

As you recall, last June 2017, I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in my colon.  Subsequent tests that month, showed all sorts of problems with my body and blood tests confirmed that I had a genetic defect in my colon. My Colonoscopy back in June showed around 60 to 70 polyps. 

Thru a myriad of tests, everything came back clear except the cancer in my colon.

I came to your clinic in August of 2017 and you were quick to start a combination therapy of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs right away. Sept 2017 had me in the operating room to remove the cancer and surrounding tissue and I was out of the hospital in 6 days.  At that time, I was diagnosed with Stage 3A Colon Cancer and needed to start chemotherapy right away.

Through the next 7 months of healing and chemo, the Therapy that Agape Acupuncture provided through your clinic was just great in getting me thru that troubling experience.  I still remember being told by the doctors that my blood platelets were to low and I would need a blood transfusion. You were quick to add more Chinese Herbs, directed at that deficiency and within 1 week, my platelets zoomed up, so that I didn’t need a transfusion. That was a huge “sigh of relief”.

Thru the months of pain, sickness and fears, the prayers that you provide each time that I was in your office, were just soothing to the soul as the rest of the treatment was to my body.  

As the months went on, you and your staff were just amazing in handling my chemo and your therapy at the same time. I remember all those days, where there were tubes coming out of my arm, filled with Chemo, and your staff never made fun of me and they always treated me with dignity and respect.  

My Chemotherapy ended in Mid-March of 2018, and I have continued with my Acupuncture and Chinese herbs, now dealing with the post-chemo side effects.

2 Subsequent blood tests and body scans show my body is returning to normal.  And there are lingering effects of Chemotherapy that will go away over time.

I am so thankful that God brought us together, you as the doctor and me as the patient.  It has been an amazing ride.  

Thank for your love and vision for your clinic, I know for me, I would have never made it out of this year of heavy trials, without the love and care of Health Care Clinic – Agape Acupuncture!

The Saga Continues…. Updated 01-30-2019

Since writing the above testimonial back in June 2018, I have continued to see Dr. Huang and receive acupuncture treatments (weekly) and continuing the Chinese Herbs regiment (daily).  Every 3 months via Kaiser Permanente Health Care, I go thru a battery of blood tests, that are measuring all sorts of aspects on the health of my blood.  All subsequent blood tests so far, have seen my blood levels come back to normal.  The BIGGEST test for cancer is the Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) test.  It is a blood test used to help diagnose and manage certain types of colon cancers.  These scores have all be in the acceptable range as well.  This is the blood test that keeps me up at night, so far, so good!

At four months old, my son developed eczema on his cheeks. When he was old enough to crawl, it spread all over his neck, arms, and legs. He was covered in big, red spots that inflamed throughout his body. His skin was dry, flaky, and scaly that looked and felt like an alligator. There was not a spot on his arms, hands, and leg that wasn't eczema. Everything I did for my son did not help. He was miserable. His eczema kept him up all day and all night, causing him to be restless. I was restless, too. 

When his pediatrician told me that it was just a baby rash, which is common in infants, it will eventually go away. Since it didn't go away and it came back worse than before, that was when his pediatrician diagnosed my son with eczema. What came across my mind was “are you kidding me!” I couldn't believe such a thing could happen to my precious little boy. I wasn't aware of what eczema was or have I seen them before so seeing my son acquire such condition was unbelievable.

We used everything from over the counter antihistamine cream, and body oil to prescription steroid cream and nothing helped to relieve the pain he was experiencing. His primary pediatrician even increased his steroid cream dosage and recommended other over-the-counter creams, but it just made his eczema worse. I felt hopeless for my son. Even with intensive research on eczema, everything I did for him, including his doctor recommendation and home remedies for eczema did not work. It was just a temporary relief. There was nothing modern medicine could do to help my little boy. The inflammation was unbearable that it made him irritable, grumpy, and itchier that he couldn't stay asleep for more than 15-30 minutes at a time. All I wanted was my baby boy to be happy, but the eczema was controlling his life.

At first, my friends and I were skeptical about acupuncture, but my husband was supportive of having our son try natural medicine.

On August 7th, 2018, I was diagnosed with vertigo. For ten days, I felt so dizzy that it made me feel sick. The dizziness made it difficult for me to eat; it caused me to vomit. It was severe that I had to go to the emergency room. The doctor did an MRI scan and referred me to see an optometrist and sent me away with medication for my symptom. When I went to the eye doctor, they checked my vision and prescribed me with glasses because my vision was blurry. But wearing glasses did not help with the symptoms I was experiencing. So I went to my family doctor, and they examined my ears and diagnosed me with vertigo. My family doctor told me that there is no cure for vertigo and the best they could do for me was prescribed some medication alleviate my symptoms. I took the medication as directed; every six hours or when I felt sick but the medication did not help.

Vertigo affected my life in every aspect. I was not able to do anything at home and work. Vertigo changed my sight the most that I couldn't perform regular tasks. It made it difficult for me to concentrate because I was constantly dizzy and unbalanced that I had a difficult time walking. I felt tired and nausea, it made me vomit, it blurred my vision, and I had no balance. 

I always wanted to try acupuncture because I believed in a natural way to treat your health. My wife was supportive of my decision to try acupuncture since she noticed that drug medicine wasn't helping me. I searched on the internet for the nearest acupuncture clinic near me. I came across Agape Natural Health of Orange County and made an appointment to see Dr. Huang in seeking to get better because there was nothing modern medicine has to offer to help with my vertigo.

Patient CJ came into Agape Natural Health seeking for treatment to relieve his back pain and sciatic nerve pain due to two bulging discs, a condition in which the inner portion of the intervertebral disc that provides shock-absorbing cushion begins to protrude from the outer wall of the disc, in his lumbar region. CJ was experiencing lower back pains that radiated down to the back of his left leg. Unknown to his condition, he went to his primary care orthopedic doctor to get his back checked out. After performing a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), his orthopedic physician confirmed that CJ has two bulging discs in his lumbar region. CJ developed his condition as a contractor that does continuous heavy lifting of objects that puts strains to his body. Over time and with age, the intervertebral discs begins to wear and tear and starts to dehydrate, and the cartilage stiffens that causes the disc to bulge and put pressure on the surrounding nerve root. His orthopedic physician recommended taking nonprescription pain medication to alleviate the pain and rest to reduce the amount of stress that is put on the spinal cord to allow the bulging disc to decrease and to prevent further compression to the spinal nerve. A bulging disc takes about six weeks to recover with limited posture movements; however, in some cases it can take longer. In his early sixties and a person with diabetes with a high level of glucose and poor blood circulation, CJ was prone to slower healing. Therefore, it would take longer to recover from bulging discs compared to a non-diabetic individual. 

After a week of suffering from back and leg pains, CJ was referred to Agape Natural Health by a friend who was troubled about his health. On June 20, 2017, CJ came in for a consultation to discuss his health concerns to Dr. Huang - how his bulging discs has affected his job performance, unable to complete tasks such as moving and lifting, his personal life of not being able to sleep at night, how walking has become challenging that prevented him from getting his daily exercise. The back pain and sciatic nerve were intolerable that over the counter pain medications weren’t helping him get any better. Dr. Huang recommends that he does a combination of acupuncture treatment and natural herbal medicine to restore his balance and promote healing. CJ decided to proceed with the acupuncture treatments and natural herbs right away. CJ followed Dr. Huang’s recommendation, and within the first week of treatment, his back pain was 25-30% better from the initial day he came into Agape Natural Health. As CJ continued his treatment program, his back pain lessened and was 50-60% better just after four acupuncture treatments. CJ was persistent on coming in three times a week for his acupuncture treatments and taking his natural herbal medicine daily because he knew that it was beneficial for his body. 

By maintaining his health, within two weeks his pain was 70% better and he was able to walk much better. On August 11, 2013, a patient came into Agape Natural Health seeking help because he was suffering from pneumonia, a chronic infection that inflames the air sacs of his lung. The patient found out he had pneumonia during his visit to the Orange County hospital for hiccups and coughs. The modern medicine doctor prescribed the patient with antibiotics and anti-inflammation to help with pneumonia. The patient took the prescription drugs for several weeks, but his health condition did not improve. He experienced more coughs and produced more mucus than before. His cough was so severe that it disturbed his sleep during the night. He became so congested that it gave him headaches and pain in his ear, nose, and throat that results in difficulty breathing. He would occasionally have the hiccups that would last for hours or even days. With all the conditions the patient experienced, it lowered his energy level causing him always to be tired. The antibiotic and anti-inflammation that the modern medicine doctor prescribed him did not elevate any of his pains or symptoms; it just made the condition worse. 

During his free 20 minutes consultation with Dr. Huang, the patient disclosed information about his condition. Dr. Huang recommended a combination of acupuncture treatments with natural herbal medicine to improve his health. The patient started treatment and natural herbal right away because he knew that western medicine did not help him with his pneumonia. A few days after his first treatment, we noticed his cough had decreased. The patient states that his ear and congestion has reduced from his initial consultation with Dr. Huang. As we treated the patients for his pneumonia, we also treated him for an autoimmune digestive disorder, shoulder pain, tight muscle, and weak ankle. Dr. Huang also recommends that the patient is placed on a special nutrition diet to promote his digestive health. As the patient progressively continued with his acupuncture treatment, we noticed a drastic change from when he initially came in with coughs, congestion, and hiccups.  After two months of acupuncture treatment at Agape Natural Health and continuous consumption of herbals medicine and nutritious guideline, his pneumonia went away. The patients' cough was gone allowing him to sleep better at night, his congestion cleared up and opened up his nasal, ears, and throat, his lungs were breathing better, he wasn’t experiencing any more headaches, his shoulder pain went away, leg muscle wasn’t tense, and his ankle got stronger. A combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutrition diet increased the patient quality of life by improving his body strength to live a healthier lifestyle.

This place is amazing!!! For 6 long months, I was covered head to toe in hives everyday. I went to so many doctors and allergy specialists just trying to figure out why they just randomly appeared one day when I have never had any allergies before! After all those tests, medications and diet changes, nothing helped so they just gave me a bunch of drugs to keep them from driving me crazy. But im so happy to say that just  after two months of acuptutre and herbs they are almost completely gone! I know that some people don't believe that these kinds of treatments work but I would say defiantly give them a try! These people here are absolutely wonderful and they have helped so many people with a variety  of issues!

Early in the year (2017) I started my acupuncture treatment with Dr. Huang as I wanted to get treatment for Diabetes. After acupuncture sessions (from January to March); the blood test results showed diminution on the Glucose readings from 120 (average readings); to the 100 mg/dl; without the need of any medication.

What better day than today, Thanksgiving 2017, to thank Dr. Huang and his incredible staff for helping me get pregnant with my beautiful second daughter. 2015 was a tough year; not only did I have two miscarriages, but my reproductive endocrinologist told my husband and I that due to my high FSH levels and age, 43, I would never be able to conceive again. I left the doctor’s office feeling heartbroken, but something in me told me that this was not how this chapter in my life was to end. I still had hope and as they say, “when there is a will, there is a way”. That following week, I did some online research and found a story on a blog that I connected with. That story led me to Dr. Huang. I called his office immediately after reading this women’s success story. Dr. Huang’s staff was great in answering my initial questions and getting me the appointment I needed.  I met with Dr. Huang and immediately knew that I was in the right place. He has an amazing bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable during our initial consultation. I began treatment three times a week in March 2016. I followed a diet he recommend for me and also took some herbal pills.

I had struggled with a bad case of Eczema, in which itchy red sores appeared all over my skin. After visiting five different doctors over the course of a year, I found that none of them could help me. One of them gave me a cream to help relieve the itching, but it was bad for my skin in other ways. I came to Agape Acupuncture on the suggestion of my pastor's wife, whose friend had a good experience here. The treatment wasn't what I was used to - acupuncture sessions, dieting, herbal pills, and a natural cream that wouldn't harm my skin. However, within a few months, I could see dramatic improvement. I was able to go out and do things without feeling constant discomfort. I was able to wear clothes that previously were too harsh on my skin. Dr. Huang is likely the friendliest doctor I've ever met. In fact, the whole staff is very welcoming. I can easily recommend Agape Acupuncture.

I went to Dr. Huang after being told by Primary care physician that there was nothing they could do for a weakened immune system.  Dr. Huang carefully looked at all of the medical data and validated the condition, but told me that he was able to help.   I had been sick for several months rotating through antibiotics, I had lost 30 lbs and needed to take a trip overseas, but could not take the required immunizations in my condition.  Dr. Huang confidently informed me that I would make the trip, prayed for me then began treating me with diet change, herbal supplements and acupuncture.  In a few months I went overseas.  As an added benefit I am off of cholesterol medications and have the best cholesterol levels since I was 20.  Dr. Huang and his staff are amazing.  He won't lie to you, he'll tell you if he can help you or not and he knows what he is doing.  I recommend Agape Acupuncture to everyone I know.  I can't stop thanking God for healing me by the loving hands of Agape Acupuncture.

My second time with Dr. Haung. He has treated me before with success every time.
I avoid your average doctor and the pharmaceutical industry because they never treat the problem. I have digestive issues and sometimes it gets difficult because it affects my eating. I hate it but Dr. Huang treats me with herbs, acupuncture and encourages me to push forward. Thank you Agape Acupuncture. Glory to God.

In April 2008 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. I was shocked and concerned due to my father having the same health issue. I had a very abnormal digestive process, bouts of diarrhea and lack of energy. I also felt bloated and weak. My food selection was limited. Different foods that I would eat would have an adverse affect on my digestive system. I always made sure I was close to a restroom. My condition was constantly on my mind and I wondered what the future held for me. Over all it was an unknown type of illness that would affect me down the road. I thought I would never have a normal life.

My MD prescribed two different types of medications Entocort and Mercaptopurine. The treatments offered to me were medications and doctor visits. I also had a Colonoscopy (upper and lower GI) and a CAT scan. While taking these medications I had side effects of weakness and joint pain. It maintained my symptoms more than reversed the disease. The medications stabilized my symptoms and I had an occasional flare up – even though I was taking my medications.

A friend referred me to Dr. Huang and I began coming to Natural Medicine Center on April 28, 2011. I was hoping that it would reverse the Crohn’s Disease and give me energy that would sustain me. The clinic had a professional - extremely nice atmosphere and very friendly. I was not very educated on natural medicine and not aware of everything it could do. Slowly I began to wean myself off the medications. Within the first 3 months I began to feel better. I had increased energy and quality of life. The process included different portions of the body stimulated via a needle to bring healing. I had very positive results! I’m totally free of drug medications. My symptoms have subsided drastically, energy level increased and my digestive system has stabilized.

Home and social life is great now! My disease used to be constantly in the fore thoughts of my mind and now it’s not. Everyone at the Natural Medicine Center is great and very friendly and informative – willing to answer any questions. I am very happy and confident with my results! My friends and family are also very happy and supportive of me. I’ve already referred my friend and sister. I view natural medicine as more of a first line of treatment now. Don’t knock it until you tried it. It has positive results.
