After years of having stomach digestion issues due to a stomach gas infusion during a surgery, 2016 was a very hard year for me. I had two infections in my body and my immune system went out of control not knowing which infection to heal: my stomach not digesting the food/having pain under my right rib or a face infection getting worse with heat and dust; it was like everything affected my face. I went to see 2 dermatologist, one endocrinologist, one GI doctor and I received many comments from about 6 other different doctors. I had 10 medical test, from a face Biopsy to hormones test, nothing seemed to be out of control except that my blood was very thick and my white cell counts were going down while my red cells began to lose their shape due to the infection but there were no traces of the infection source. Nobody knew from where the infection was coming from.
     
Even when I didn’t take medicine for the past 15 years; now every prescribed medicine I took made my hands and legs swollen, the creams and topical ointments prescribed made my face worse and itchy, flaky or dry. I felt without drive and hopeless; my immune system was getting weaker and weaker as the Summer rose. I had my stomach inflated and swollen under the rib and in constant pain; I wasn’t digesting oils, protein, and eating spinach, meat, potatoes or Cilantro would make the face flare, depending on what I had ingested the pain increased or decreased.

Constantly in the morning time I woke up with swollen fingers and hand’s articulations pain, as I am a pianist by profession, those mornings were devastating. A bump in my eyelid began to grow, I began to feel disoriented and dizzy, unable to concentrate.

One night I said good bye to my husband, I felt like I was going to die. We prayed together and we ask for God’s will. I had the option to fly to the South of Mexico but we were concerned about my body’s weakness and the polluted air during the flight.

More than 10 doctors said that stomach and face are not related but my family doctor had a different approach, he was sure that the face infection was coming from the stomach; we had Ozone therapy and other natural medical treatments; with constancy the redness in the face was less intense, the pain was coming and going; but even when I was feeling better I wasn’t healing, those remedies worked to a certain point, not cured after all.

The medical bills began to increase until the moment when I was unable to pay more treatments.

I decided to try acupuncture but I didn’t want to go to a place with figurines and posters but in my mind I wanted a contemporary reliable acupuncture doctor. I prayed to God for a Christian Acupuncture Doctor. I searched the internet and God guided me to Dr. Kevin Huang and Agape Acupuncture.                   

After 2 months of treatment now the face inflammation and the face infection are under control, the pain has decreased too. I know that I still need time for my immune system to be cured, healed and stronger but I also need to pay all those expensive medical bills. I need to come back to Dr. Huang and his friendly staff to complete the healing recovery road but that will be my next story.

I started having high blood pressure 8 years ago and I felt sad when I received the diagnosis. It is hard to describe but my head and ears felt strange. I stopped riding the rides at the fair when I found out I had HBP. I took drug medications prescribed by my M.D.: 1 per day and continued for 8 years. Well, I asked you if the cream I use would help baby E because her face, behind her knees and an area on her neck were very red, tender and scaly, and you said, as her pediatrician said, it looks like it could be eczema.

Well, I bought the A (yellow) cream and the pink cream and began putting it on her face that day around 3:30pm and by the time she went to bed around 8pm it was already looking better! The next morning her face wasn't bright red as it usually was when she woke up! She looked so much better and acted so happy (I'm sure she had been in some pain and even though she was a sweet good natured baby it had to hurt to smile) And by the time her parents came back from their weekend away at 1:30, she was 80-90% better!!! Oh my goodness what a miracle Dr. Kevin!!  :-)

Her parents were shocked and were elated to see their baby so happy and almost completely healed!!! They couldn't get over the miraculous change since they left her with me just 2 days earlier! Especially since this had been going on for a few months, progressively getting worse with the harsh creams her doctor recommended. They asked what changed for her, what did we do differently. And of course I told them you saw her and recommended these creams and diet guidelines. They are the happiest patents in the world, as I am E's grandma :-)

Oh and because their baby has changed, my son and his wife have friends with a baby with the same thing, so they will be calling you. And I have a co-worker who has terrible migraines who will be calling you too. This is just such a gift from God that he is using you in such a miraculous way to help heal people.

STOMACH PAINS (4 YEAR OLD BOY) | 2 MONTHS OF AGONY

“On the 6th day of taking the herbs, my son said that the pain is gone... praise Jesus, for healing my son and hearing our prayers.”

Our 4 years old son started having stomach pains. We went to a doctor and was given antibiotics for a week. When the pain did not go away, we did x-ray and ultrasound. The diagnosis was constipation without obstruction. For several weeks, we changed his diet, gave him supplements to help him go. He would go 2-3x a day with good amount but the pain remained. We went to see different doctors and a gastro pediatrician but they have no answers except to put him in Miralax everyday.  

2 months of agony and not knowing if there is something else that we should do. The stomach pain is becoming a part of our everyday life and we don't like it. We prayed and prayed and asked God for direction. We researched online and found Dr. Huang's website. We read the testimonials and we are hopeful. We thought it will do no harm to try acupuncture. We are desperate.

7 YEARS OF MIGRAINE HEADACHES

At age nine I experienced my first migraine. I have been suffering from migraines for the last seven years. The past year was especially painful. I began to experience at least one migraine each week. The pain from the migraines intensified after receiving a concussion from football.

I have lived with back pain since I was in the eighth grade. Since that time I have had to go get various types of treatment such as medicinal doctors, chiropractic treatment, etc. A couple of years ago I tried acupuncture and it seemed to work better than previous treatments and I found that I may be on the right track.

Last year (2012) I happened to go through another bout of back pain which caused a lot of pain and discomfort. At the church I go to I got into a conversation with a fellow church member and friend and according to she and her daughter, the daughter was just finishing up treatment at the office of a wonderful Christian doctor named Kevin Huang, who through the use of acupuncture and natural herbs had treated the daughter for issues with her thyroid. This treatment enabled her to get off of all of her medicines and once done left no indication of thyroid problems at all. I was pretty impressed and sold once I read the actual testimony of the daughter.

After having undergone treatments of acupuncture and herbs I can say that my back has not felt this good in many years! I have had days in which my back is sore but that has always been due to having done something less than smart, such as moving something on my own without asking for help (I’m a man, that’s what we do!). The great news is that the treatment has allowed me to recover from my less than stellar decision making very quickly (within a day or two versus weeks or even over a month in the past).

Dr. Huang also added some herbs to help me with my ever slowing metabolism rate which had caused me to never quite get past a certain point when dieting and exercising. Even though I have eaten fairly well and exercised fairly well, I was always a little overweight. With the herbs being taken after each meal I’ve been able to maintain a weight that is over 25 pounds less than when I got married in 2009. I have pictures that show me from when I was at least 42 pounds heavier than I am today. To now be stabilized at this current weight allows me to feel much better physically.

What a big difference it has been since coming into the Natural Medicine Center. I have recommended it to a few folks and will continue to do so. What has been a wonderful aspect of this treatment is Dr. Huang’s willingness to give all the glory to God for the source of the healing that goes on at the Natural Medicine Center. When I was a child, I fractured my skull and had a blood clot. It was terrible. I went to the Emergency Room (ER) and had MRI and CT Scan - the MD didn’t have a cure. On February 9, 2013 I started treatments at Agape Acupuncture, Inc. for Shingles pain and nerve pain. I was in a lot of pain and I was scared. My skin was burning and I couldn’t move my left arm. CROHN’S DISEASE | My Son's Story

“Once natural medicine began, he started to improve day by day and within weeks he had gained back all the weight he had lost (30-35 lbs)! In January 2009, my son began to vomit all meals and began to have stomach aches and pains. He was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in March 2009. I never even knew what Crohn’s Disease was. I was shocked anyone in my family even had a disease. We were always so healthy. No one in our family was ever sick from anything before this, but that was always because my mom (his grandmother) always fed the family fresh organic foods and plenty or vitamins. When he started getting stomach aches, I always noticed at dinner time when he would stop mid-meal, not move, and trying to will away his stomach pain. He became increasingly unable to eat. He ate less and less and less. He was increasingly angry and short-tempered. This illness not only limited his food but it affected his relationship with the family negatively. The Intestinal Doctor says he would have this disease for the rest of his life and be on these drugs for years; that there was no cure but we could manage the disease.

My son was so sick and because he’d lost so much weight, he looked malnourished. He started taking the steroids and that decreased the inflammation in his small intestine and he was so happy that he could eat, that he sat down and ate raw vegetables but then he saw the pizza everyone else was eating. He had been so famished that he dove right into the pizza and that night he suffered from the worst most severe stomachache he had ever had! We rushed him to the hospital where they diagnosed him with a bowel obstruction. His small intestines had inflamed and completely shut down. So they put him on a much greater dosage of steroids and morphine for the pain. After the hospital increased his dosage, his legs became so weak that he went down in P.E. It scared the doctor so bad that he weaned him off of them 10 mg/day until he was at zero. We wouldn’t do their treatments. We just went there to get diagnosed but it took so long he lost 15 lbs. Once he gave in to take their drugs, he ate like a starving person and ended up in the hospital with a bowel obstruction.

Once released from the hospital we came to see Dr. Huang at Agape Acupuncture where he had acupuncture 3 times a week, took herbal supplements and changed his diet. He cut out all processed foods, ate more healthy and began to gain his weight back. He became a happy boy. We weaned him off the steroids and other medicine that modern medicine told us he’d be on for years. They even wanted to put him on Leukemia medication and I didn’t want to destroy his liver by medicating his intestines that way. I send every sick person I know to Dr. Kevin Huang because I know the benefits. I used to come to the Saturday classes when Dr. Huang held them. I loved the classes. They made the body so comprehensible. I was a firm believer in natural medicine but because of ignorance I had no views. I never knew there were alternatives or I would’ve come here in 1987, when I needed help with a horrible skin condition after getting out of the hospital for a terrible infection. Change your diet, take supplements, drink tea and get acupuncture. My son was healed because he no longer eats the nasty processed foods that gave him Crohn’s Disease in the first place. He’s back to normal and has been for 4 years now! He’s made friends and is in college now. My son became “happy” once he started getting better. Lack of nutrition had affected his brain function and he was angry all the time. The staff is wonderful, kind caring people who recognize you and call you by your first name. They’re knowledgeable, helpful, kind, always smiling and non-judgmental. I wasn’t sure what to expect because modern medicine said there was no cure but that was because they didn’t know what caused it. I just knew that Dr. Kevin Huang would know what to do and what to tell us and that his “only” chance, besides praying 24-7, was coming to natural medicine and be treated.

I feel 1000% happy! I wish I could talk to thousands of other Crohn’s patient mothers. I would refer everyone who has a “supposed” disease because it works and I have referred dozens of people. In 2011, I went to Dr. Kevin Huang for acupuncture treatment. I had a light case of shingles and had a persistent nerve pain in my upper back. The acupuncture treatment did not hurt, and successfully made the back pain go away.

In the summer of 2013, I had a pain in my upper thigh from arthritis, and an itchy red heat rash on my back from the hot temperatures. Again, I went to Dr. Huang for acupuncture treatment, and the pain in my thigh and the heat rash on my back went away. A natural herbal topical cream, recommended by Dr. Huang, also helped with the itchiness and inflammation of the rash during the treatment.

Dr. Huang gave me nutritional guidelines to follow for a healthy immune system. I am 39 years old. At age 36, and with a 7 year-old daughter, I wanted a second child. With 2 unsuccessful rounds of IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization), I came to the Natural Medicine Center to receive acupuncture. We were trying to conceive for 3 years. My first conception I had a miscarriage 6 weeks later. One month later I conceived again and miscarried. All testing was normal but we still were not able to have a child. There were no reasons for my infertility and everything looked normal. I was offered IVFs and hormone injections by an infertility doctor, which did not help. The IVF treatments started May 2009 - January 2010 and were unsuccessful. It was very painful physically and emotionally, and it was financially draining. I had frustration of not being able to get pregnant. I had stress at work and was emotionally down when a friend told me acupuncture would help me.

I searched the internet, found the Agape Acupuncture, Inc., and began treatments for infertility on June 11, 2010. I was given acupuncture and herbal medicine. The treatments were not painful and very little money. I was 38 years old at the time and I had no expectations and no prior views of natural medicine. I just wanted to get pregnant and have my second child. I didn’t share it with my husband because he did not believe in natural medicine.

After a couple of months I was feeling better emotionally where I was very down previously. Miracle! I have a second child on the way and I’m at 28 weeks now! I’m very happy with the results. I have more energy and an improved quality of life. The increase in energy helped me a lot at home and at work. The herbs are very useful and my periods are always on time. I had several miscarriages and it wasn’t a shock to get pregnant but the fact the baby is healthy – my family and friends are surprised. I didn’t expect to get these results at all.

Now I rely on natural medicine 100%. I shared with family and friends the good experience I received at the Agape Acupuncture, Inc. and Dr. Huang. The staff is very friendly and respectful. They do their job at the best level they can, and they are good listeners. I want to refer a friend of mine and my sister-in-law. With natural medicine, you get well naturally and with no pain and very little money. You get a better quality of life regardless of your problem. I appreciate Dr. Huang and his staff and their beliefs. It was a blessing that I found the clinic. Dr. Huang has a positive attitude and he really got me motivated.

One of the deepest desires of my heart was to one day become a mother, it never really occurred to me that I would struggle to fulfill that desire. After trying to get pregnant for about a year, I went in to the doctor complaining of pelvic pain. A trans vaginal ultrasound was performed and that's when I saw them- clusters of cysts showed up on the screen and as the doctor was explaining to me that I had a condition called PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). I remember tears started welling up when she told me it may be a challenge to get pregnant and with some women, it can cause infertility altogether. Realizing I might not get to experience one of the most fulfilling experiences in life, I felt crushed and hopeless.

I was put on Metformin and a couple months later, started gearing up to get on fertility medication (Clomid). After reading how these drugs tamper with hormones and the variable success rates/side effects, I decided I wanted to try a more natural approach first. I went in to see Dr. Huang and he seemed certain that I could get pregnant if I followed hes regimen strictly. I followed his diet plan, took the herbs prescribed, and did acupuncture twice a week. I found out I was pregnant after 2 months!

I continued the treatment until my second trimester to help alleviate morning sickness and help prevent a miscarriage (which is more common in women with PCOS). I had a wonderful and healthy pregnancy and even came back for a few sessions during the last few weeks of pregnancy to alleviate swelling (which helped a lot!).

I had a beautiful healthy little girl June 27, 2015 and I am so grateful to God and to Dr. Huang's guidance that helped heal me from the inside out and blessed my life with a baby girl.

A little over 3 months ago I began to have terrible excruciating pain caused by Shingles. It was a constant pain and numbness. I kept doing what I would normally do, even during the pain. I was prescribed drug medicine by my medical doctor and it didn’t do anything for me. First off all, I don’t like taking pills, especially when it doesn’t accomplish anything. The medical doctor didn’t achieve anything – zero. I continued taking the drug medications until I started treatment at Agape Acupuncture on April 27, 2013.

My children have been here and I thought I’d try it. My daughter suggested that I come because of the constant pain and numbness and I hoped to eliminate this. My friends and family were supportive. I was a firm believer in natural medicine before coming to Agape Acupuncture. I felt that natural medicine doctors have been doing it for thousands of years and they could solve medical problems that modern medicine doctors can’t.

I did whatever Dr. Huang told me to do and it resolved the pain and numbness. They accomplished what medical doctors couldn’t and I’m satisfied with the results. About 10 years ago, an injury to my back brought on peripheral neuropathy. There was damage to the nerve (L5-S1) and lab tests confirmed these findings. I have always been very athletic and this numbness in my feet was very debilitating. From 2002-2009, I sought various therapies in Atlanta and California. I tried injections, physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractor, and different drugs before coming to Natural Medicine --- all with no change. I couldn’t walk barefoot or wear nice shoes. I couldn’t run or do exercise on my feet for long. And for years, I couldn’t sleep on my right side or back.

I never thought that it would take us nearly four years to be able to conceive again after our first miscarriage back in 2012. We were truly heartbroken amidst the hardship and everything we went through. Not knowing that it would literally take us this long, I began to feel frustrated with little hope. Around 2013 and 2014, we then decided to seek professional help by going to 2 different infertility clinics. After two attempts of IUI, tons of medications and injections, we felt it was just time to step back and take a break. I was tired! In the summer of 2015, I began to research alternative methods. While searching online, I came across several websites that offered “infertility acupuncture treatments”. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I went ahead and inquired about the treatment costs, etc. I stumbled across Dr. Huang’s website. What really captured my interest to pursue this even further was that this particular clinic was faith-based. I was drawn by the fact that his practice/professional work is his ministry! So, fast forward to the month of August 2015, we made an appointment to consult with Dr. Huang. I couldn’t help my tears when I was explaining to him what I’ve been through and how tough it’s been just to conceive and the worst part is, not actually knowing why as I’ve been classified as, “unexplained infertility”.

We immediately began treatment that same day and he gave us a run down about what type of foods to avoid, and that it would take about 3 months to prepare my body to conceive. At first, I thought, “seriously?” But we know that all we can do is just trust Dr. Huang’s recommendations. He also prescribed me some natural herbs to help with my blood and liver functions. The entire process takes a lot of time, patience and commitment. But the end result was definitely worth it. Nearly 5 months into the treatment, we found out early February that we’re pregnant and expecting our first child, a baby boy, due October 2016! It’s been almost a year since we began our acupuncture journey with Dr. Huang and have really enjoyed the entire process. We appreciate his prayers, Godly-advice and words of wisdom each time we meet. You’ll always see him happily smiling and full of energy!

We hope that by sharing our trials and hardships, you will re-gain a sense of hope and trust knowing that God just has a way of dealing with us in His perfect will and time.
